Hey so I just read through cave boy Danny again and I’m realizing something. Do the Wayne’s not ever realize that Danny is middle class(poor)?
That’s just another level of hilarious to me for some reason.
No they didn't know he was middle class.
He did show signs, like eating with his hands, looking alarmed at the amount of pocket money, and his aversion to rich people in general, but they thought it was because he was the lazy version of Bruce. They knew from day one he was Bruce's alternate, so they assumed that caused the similarities in personality and the jarring differences.
They also thought Danny was a civilian- expect for Tim- and figured it that also had a role in why he acted so off.
Batman, every version they have encountered either good or evil, has always had the same superpower. Being rich.
They can't fathom a version of Bruce who isn't rich. If they ever found out, Damian would have a heart attack, because what do you mean there is going to be a version of him that comes from the working class? Added to the fact Danny appeared to be a kleptomaniac by all the stuff he took to make his secert ship?
Yeah, that would have been a bad day for Damian Wayne. He had to sleep hugging the money bags his mother left him to avoid nightmares.
