DnDecember 31 - Diorama (Overtime)
Today to celebrate the last day of December and the last day of 2023, I rolled up 3d10 and pick up some results from the three lists I've drawn throughout december, and made a little diorama scene for it.
The result was Snowglobe, Cave Fisher, and Scorn, and I got the idea for Scorn to come across the Snowglobe in a cavern among trails of glowworms, unaware that one of these glowing threads were actually the Cave Fisher's thread lure.
This has been a turbulent year for me, but no matter how depressed and anxious of a roller coaster it's been for me throughout the year, I am forever happy, proud, and glad that I have manage to accomplish an Unbroken Streak from January 1st 2023 to December 31th 2023. Here's to another year of art, maybe less strict on the schedule.
I done this piece early, so I can schedule it to be reblogged before midnight, and on the usual morning reblog time.
Hoping I can continue my arting for years to come, and if you're interested do consider supporting me by getting some commissions from me. I'm available in Ban-Chan and Ko-Fi for commissions, check out my pinned post to see the links and pricing!
here are the monster tokens I drew for my dnd campaign! these were all super fun to do, but I’m still getting the hang of balancing making cool detailed drawings, and readability for tokens in roll20
Inktober 2019 Day 3 Bait
Cave Fishers do not need bait to catch their prey, but they manage to survive just good.
This is the inks for the fourth page of a DnD inspired story that I've been commissioned to do.
“Cave fishers are hard-shelled, many-legged creatures that live by trapping animals in the subterranean world.” (David Sutherland, first appearance of the cave fisher, AD&D module A4: In the Dungeons of the Slave Lords by Lawrence Schick, TSR, 1981)
DnDecember 20 - Cave Fisher
Today's prompt are cave Fisher, and so far this has the more extensive research. I decided to mix together some cave critters features so they look more than just "albino scorpion".
The filament part is the harder one to do, just mainly figuring out how it looked, but otherwise I have simple time with this one, mainly because coloring it was so simple, I had to go and add some more colors for texturing.
