The Lovers represent in honor of the mother and father of humankind, Adam and Eve. The Angel of God is a witness and recognition of the love taking place. Note: The Lovers is associated with the Gemini sign. Geminis represent neighbors, siblings, short trips/travel, and quick mindfulness. This sign doesn't necessarily think about the 'deep depth of love'—shown in how Adam and Eve had to be taught by the angels to be intimate and produce babies. Geminis are the students of the zodiac.
