ahhh i love this fic. i stumbled across it in another ship tag, because as interested as i am in the ship i don’t read much of it! but i’m always here for modern AUs so it caught my eye immediately. i’ve never read a flower shop/tattoo parlor fic In Depth and i am loving it so far.

while i'm definitely the interactions between the main ship, what really stands out to me here is the background characters! there are so many little details about everyone else who works on that street, from reiju’s roller derby league to urouge‘s sex shop. it feels like there’s a lot going on other than just the main baort/cav plot and i really love that! plus, everyone taking bets on when these two are finally gonna get together creates a hilariously awkward atmosphere (and further pushes the OH MY GOD JUST KISS ALREADY vibe that i love dearly).

i’m really excited to see how this fic ends!

I’ll only forgive Oda for slighting Cavendish if he makes him the one to swoop in and rescue Bartolomeo after he and his crew got blown up by Yassop. Like come on, it’s worldwide news. You’re telling me Cavendish, captain of the FIRST ship, saw that headline and went “damn that’s crazy” and went back to brushing his hair?? He would help his kohai, right?? He's THAT honorable right???? It's literally the perfect setup to bring him back!!! Come on Oda pleaseee
