Man, it's been quite some time since I talked about that AU. Good news is, I absolutely still adore it and will take any opportunity I get to blab about it. It'll mostly be the cavernshipping trio because they live in my head rent free.

Pretty much all of the ninja have caught Cole, Shade, and Jay in compromising positions. It's nothing new at this point; everybody knows those three are Freaks and nobody cares.

"Jay, I'm not asking you again. Clean your bondage equipment off the table or it's getting dumped in the trash!"

Kai and Skylor do eventually have a family of their own, having a daughter and then a son to be cousins with Tessa. The kids are really close knit.

Neuro is the awesome single and childless uncle. When he's feuding with Kai, he feeds the kids too much sugar before handing them back to their parents.

I meant to end the series on this but never got around to it: Kailor wedding! Neuro is obviously the man of honour and Nya is the best woman. It's honestly quite adorable. Tessa gets to bring up the rings too.

Neuro gets dragged by Kai into ring shopping. Hilarity ensues. It takes the two of them way too long to find a ring.

The trio having kids of their own eventually. Not sure if Obscuria exists in this AU or not. Actually, not sure if this is even DR-adjacent. Hmmmm.

Anyways, there's definitely an angsty element to this because the trio can't get married due to the city only accepting marriages between two parties. So the adoption process is a bit of the headache due to them not being legally married (and also a throuple) and the other ninja all get involved to make their friends happy.

Pixal gets a soulmark in this AU after she gets her body rebuilt! She also comes out as demigirl to the team with Karlof's help. The two of them are best buds and Zane absolutely adores it.

Lloyd and Griffin will get together on Day of the Departed and light a lantern for Morro. It's actually been a pretty healing process for both of them, especially Lloyd. It allows him to kinda "send off" Morro in a way and move forward.

Griffin, Jay, and Kai all getting along like a house on fire. This is bad for everyone else's blood pressure.

Skylor throwing surprise parties for Neuro on his birthday. Ever year, he tells her he doesn't want one. Every year, she throws a bigger one instead. Neuro just accepts it at this point.

Lloyd being godfather to Chamille's daughter mayhaps. Not sure if Lloyd would have kids in this, but if he does, Chamille and Tox are the cool aunts to them.
