Our 2 year old guinea pig has an ovarian cyst. Spent 3 hours at the emergency vet last night. She needs life saving surgery no later than next week and overall the vet bill is totalling approximately $700.

We decided to rescue a Guinea pig from the local humane society to keep our other piggy company. Oreo is in his quarantine cage with a towel between him and Patches while they get used to each other's scent and sounds. The little guy is completely worn out after his big adventure of leaving the kennel and being settled in to his own cage. 3 weeks and a coue of play dates on neutral ground and they can be moved to the new big pen together.
