On May 28th, the FDA has submitted a document titled "Cannabis and Cannabis-Derived Compounds: Quality Considerations for Clinical Research; Draft Guidance for Industry; Availability" to the Office of Management and Budget. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) serves the President of the United States in overseeing the implementation of his vision across the Executive Branch. The OMB prepares the President's budget proposal to Congress and supervises the administration of the executive branch agencies. The OMB evaluates the effectiveness of agency programs, policies, and procedures to assess competing funding demands among agencies and set funding priorities. According to the FDA, the Office of Management (OM) provides exceptional customer service, guidance, and education on resource and administrative management activities to protect human and animal health. One has to wonder if this is the proposed budget for the upcoming FDA regulations on CBD. What do you think?
