COLT REES is a 24 year old PANSEXUAL, CISMALE, HE/HIM here in Upper America. People say they look a lot like FINN COLE. They are VALIANT but can be BITTER. They are a HUMAN in the city, they are A SLAVE and work as a CLEANER AT OFF THE CHAIN
Colt has always had a heaping of expectations on his shoulders. His mother disappeared when he was young and though he’s not entirely sure what happened to her, he’s fairly certain she’s dead. It sent his father off the edge, constantly searching for a way for humans to take the world back (though he was smart enough to keep himself fairly contained) while dragging Colt along with him.
When his father joined a rebel group, with the belief they could create enough humans to give humanity a fighting chance against the supernatural, Colt just thought he was insane. But he was expected to go along, and when he was old enough – to start procreating.
He had absolutely no intention of bringing anymore humans into a world as screwed up as the one they lived in. Instead Colt refused, and while at first he got away with it (most of the young women relieved that he wasn’t interested,) his father and the other leaders noticed. At first they were gentle about it, encouraging him, finding new partners etc.
New partners with experience. New partners who weren’t afraid. New partners who believed in the cause. When Colt refused to do his duty, they resorted to physical persuasion, assuming he would fall into line with the right encouragement. When he didn’t, it became clear that Colt had to go. He was a bad influence.
They ripped up his freedom papers, and they threw him out. He managed as best he could but without papers it was only a matter of time before he got caught without them.
Colt is almost always observing the people around him, storing information that might help him at some stage. In a way, he’s fearless but he’s fairly cooperative of what’s become his life for the most part – holding a sense of bitterness about humanity and what’s become of it. He doesn’t think much of himself and in a way, he doesn’t think much of his species.
But he’s here, and he’s alive and despite everything he does intend on staying that way for as long as possible.
