luna had been out all day, and has barely even spoken to kent, which already had him worried. but when she showed up at his apartment, soaking wet, he began to worry more.
kent opened the door after hearing a knock, luna stood outside, water dripping off her clothes, face, and hair.
kent gently pulled her inside, closing the door behind her. “you’re soaking wet, love.” kent said, wiping some water off her face. “i’m aware.” luna nodded, shivering.
“come on, let’s get you out of those wet clothes.” kent told her, helping her to the bathroom. "do you want me to start you a shower or a bath?" kent asked, grabbing a few towels from the rank and setting them down on the sink.
“a shower is fine, thank you.” luna smiled softly, struggling to unbutton her shirt. kent turned the water on, letting it heat up. “no need to thank me.” kent shook his head.
kent turned around, helping her unbutton her shirt. "i'll toss your pajamas in the dryer to warm them up. so you won’t freeze.” kent pulled the wet shirt off of her shoulders, it slight sticking to her skin.
luna smiled at him, he had always been the sweetest. “can i?” kent asked, referring to helping her take her shoes and pants off. luna nodded.
kent undid the button on her jeans, and pulled down the zipper, he bent down and untied her shoes, placing his hand on her lower leg and slipping off her shoes.
kent stood back up, checking the temperature of the water. “come feel.” kent said, luna reached her hand out, feeling the warm water on her cold skin. “it’s good.” luna nodded. “okay, i’ll leave you to shower. your stuff is where it always is, your pajamas will be on the bed.” kent told her, opening the bathroom door. “thank you.” luna said.
kent smiled, closing the door behind him and walking to the bedroom. he grabbed a pair of her pajamas and placed them in the dryer. once the dryer went off, the shower also cut off, kent placed the pajamas on the bed, before making some hot chocolate.
luna walked out of the bathroom, towel wrapped around her, she walking into the bedroom, and changed into the warm pajama kent had set out.
the warmth of the pajamas made her feel safe, like in a tight hug. luna grabbed some socks out of the drawer and put them on.
she walked into the living room, being met with kent on the coach, with a mug of joy chocolate which had tiny marshmallows and a straw.
luna sat down next to him, as he handed her the hot chocolate. “why were you out in the rain?” kent asked, grabbing a blanket and playing it over her lap.
“i don’t know, kj. i was at home, then i went to out to get some things and then i was here, i think it was more of an accident i was in the rain, i knew i wanted to be here but like.” luna said, taking a sip of her hot chocolate.
“you had your phone with you.” he said, turning on the tv and placing it on mute. “yea, why?” luna hummed. “because you didn’t call or text.” kent frowned slightly.
“oh, im sorry.” luna said. “it’s fine, i was just worried.. what movie you wanna watch?”
“um.. can we just watch 9-1-1?” luna asked. “sure,” kent said, unmuting the tv and going to hulu, he searched for the show before turning it on and setting the remote down.
kent wrapped his arm around her, pulling her to him, placing a kiss on her head and focusing on the movie
