Jasper has always been known to have his “head in the stars” and can be somewhat oblivious to the things going on around him, including someone having a crush on him. He and Amir knew each other before dating, but it took a while for Jasper to realize Amir liked him and that he felt the same. When Jasper did, it was a “hold on a minute!” moment, and he immediately found himself falling hard for Amir.

Meanwhile, Amir had long fallen for Jasper, obliviousness and all. He had been captivated by him not long after they met, and he used to look for excuses to see Jasper. With each meeting, Amir’s feelings kept growing until he couldn’t keep hiding them and decided to confess to Jasper.

😈 Who is more likely to start chaos “for the vine” & who films it?

Frankly, both could fill either role, but I feel like Amir would be more likely to start the chaos while Jasper films it. After all, this is the guy who volunteered to get high in the name of science!

😳 What’s the most embarrassing thing they’ve walked in on the other person doing?

For Amir, it was walking in on Jasper acting out his favourite spy movie while it played on their TV. The two love spy movies, Jasper a little more so, and since he was little, Jasper has enjoyed pretending he is a spy. Obviously, he never told Amir this until he was caught, but he wasn’t embarrassed for long as Amir quickly joined in on the game of pretend. Now, it's one of their favourite things to do when rewatching a movie since they already know how it will play out.

For Jasper, it was walking in on Amir while he was practicing perfecting his tea skills to surprise Rupert. Jasper came home to their kitchen counters COVERED in cups and mugs of Amir’s tea attempts, and so many smells in the air that he couldn’t distinguish a specific scent. Amir smiled awkwardly when he realized he was caught and offered Jasper his latest attempt as a peace offering.

👀 Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?

Amir and Jasper have about the same level of jealousy. But out of the two, Amir is slightly more obvious with it.

🍳 Who cooks & who sets off the smoke alarm trying to help?

It's a tie. Both are good cooks, but have also been guilty of setting off the smoke alarm. They used to keep a record of when someone set off the smoke alarm when they first moved in together, but as of the last count, it was a draw.

🛌 Who hogs the blanket & who ends up freezing dramatically?

Amir is the blanket hog, and Jasper freezes dramatically until Amir gives up some of the blanket or lets Jasper snuggle in with him.

😴 Who falls asleep first & who watches them with heart-eyes?

Amir falls asleep first since Jasper likes to stay up late to stargaze. Amir often joins him, and sometimes he falls asleep against Jasper, giving Jasper something even more special than the stars to gaze at.

🎤 Who sings in the shower & who secretly records it for blackmail?

I think Jasper would sing in the shower, and Amir would record it for blackmail.

💞 How do they act when one of them is sick?

Amir tends to go a little overboard with medicine and stuff to help Jasper feel better. He also calls Rupert for tea advice on which teas will work best to help alleviate Jasper’s symptoms. Amir makes sure Jasper has everything he needs so he can get plenty of rest and recover quickly.

Jasper acts much the same when Amir is sick, though he doesn’t go overboard with medicine and tea. But he will make sure to stock up on Amir's favourite snacks that he can eat while sick and make him soup. (A recipe from Amir’s mother.)

🌪️ What’s the most chaotic thing they’ve done together on pure impulse?

Maybe not the most “chaotic” thing, but they once saw an advertisement for skydiving and went, “Why not?” and went for it!

These two are such a sweet couple, I’m glad they got a happy ending!

🌸 What nickname do they have for each other that would mortify them if others heard?

While people often hear the couple using nicknames like “honey”, “dear”, or “sweetheart”, there are some nicknames the couple rarely allows others to hear. Charlie loves calling Maddie “My Spark” because she brings such warmth and light to his life, like the spark of electricity that powers his inventions. Maddie loves to call Charlie “My Genius Idiot.” Not to mock Charlie, but rather as a way to show that she loves how smart he is as an inventor while still needing her help with some things. That no matter how smart Charlie may be, Maddie will always be there to help him understand the things he doesn’t know.

🎤 Who sings in the shower & who secretly records it for blackmail?

Charlie would be the singer, and Maddie would be the one to record him. Though it wouldn't necessarily be for blackmail, because some of the recordings she would keep for her to listen to when she’s missing Charlie or needs something to make her smile.

💞 How do they act when one of them is sick?

Charlie would be panicking because Maddie rarely gets sick. Hungover, yes, but sick? Not so much! He’s used to helping her through the sickness of a hangover, but he’s not used to her being actually sick, so he tends to freak out a little. He makes sure they’re stocked with medicine, tissues, soup, Maddie's favourite candies for when she’s better and anything else he can think of. He’ll insist that Maddie stay in bed and rest, even when she protests that she feels fine. He’ll stand his ground, since it's rare that a cold or the flu gets the best of Maddie, so he wants to do everything he can to help her get back quickly.

As for Maddie, she’s a lot less panicked than Charlie whenever he gets sick. He’s more prone to catching a cold than she is, so she has plenty of experience dealing with a sickly Charlie. Like Charlie, she’ll make sure they have plenty of supplies on hand to help him get better, and she also knows some home remedies. Since she’s not worried about him getting her sick, Maddie will often sit with Charlie while he’s resting and play with his hair since he finds it comforting.

🧩 What tiny habit of the other do they find unbearably adorable?

Charlie loves it when Maddie pouts when she’s annoyed with him. Her cheeks get puffy, and more than once, he’s been reminded of a chipmunk. She looks so cute, especially when she crosses her arms, and Charlie sometimes annoys her on purpose just to get a reaction out of her. But he never does anything more than light teasing because he just wants to slightly annoy her, not make her mad!

Maddie loves it when Charlie talks to himself. He often does it while working, and sometimes it seems like he’s almost having a fully blown conversation with himself. She finds it especially cute when he gives himself compliments and sees a happy little smile grace his face. He also sometimes talks to himself in German or French since those are the languages his family speaks back in Switzerland, and Maddie adores listening to him in any language. Bonus points when he compliments her in any of the languages he knows.

These two are one of my CC OTPs… Their story is so good but so tragic! Why couldn’t we have gotten a happy ending for them?! WHY?!😭

For an insane crack ship that’s been cooking in my head recently: Meera Kat/Skylar Sage lmao

Honestly… I can see it! I’ve had Skylar on my mind too recently, since her sprite was a big part in making my Erin Keenan edit! And I’m not surprised your request involves the lovely Meera Kat!😉

Now, let me get cooking on these headcanons!

🌹 Who fell harder & who fell first?

Meera would have fallen harder, but Skylar would have fallen first. Since Meera is so focused on her art career, she doesn’t notice other things that quickly. So when it comes to love, she’d be somewhat oblivious when a person truly loves her for her and not just her looks. But when realization does hit? Oh boy, Meera will spiral! And in that spiral, she’ll realize that she has feelings for Skylar too, and everything will hit her at once, causing her to fall hard!

As for Skylar, she would have fallen first. I can see her learning about Meera through her art, as I can also see Skylar looking beyond the artwork itself to find the hidden meaning. After being captivated by the art, she would seek out Meera, possibly using recruitment for The Higher Truth as an excuse to talk to her. And while Meera would try to dismiss Skylar and her “Higher Truth” talk, the moment Skylar started praising Meera's work, she’d have the artist’s undivided attention. So, with a new way of getting to hang out with Meera, Skylar would take full advantage to spend more time with Meera, falling further in love with every meeting.

💍 Would they ever get married? What would the proposal look like?

I get the impression that Meera doesn’t believe in marriage. Probably stemming somewhat from the headcanon that her parents are divorced, so she may have a “what’s the point in getting married if you’ll just break up later?” idea towards marriage. Not to say she doesn’t like the idea of a wedding, but she probably couldn't care less about having a certificate to prove you love someone. I feel similarly for Skylar, but for different reasons. She also wouldn’t care about the government recognizing their union, but she would still enjoy a ceremony to celebrate and symbolize their love and their becoming one.

To make a long story short, I don’t see them having a traditional wedding but rather a ceremony they’ve designed to represent themselves. Possibly an outdoor one with decorations Meera made. They’d have only a select few people attend, and there wouldn’t be anyone to officiate, just Meera and Skylar pledging their love to each other and promising to be together for the rest of their lives in front of the people they care about most.

As for the proposal, I could see Meera actually being the one to do it. I can see her designing and making a ring for Skylar that beautifully represents her love for Skylar while still being Skylar’s style. Or maybe even a necklace if Skylar isn’t a ring person. And unlike Meera’s desire for her art shows to be huge events, Meera would want the proposal to be just for her and Skylar. It would be at one of their favourite spots in the woods where Meera would have set up simple decorations to set the scene, and no one else would be there to witness her asking Skylar to marry her.

Side note: Meera would never post pictures of Skylar on her social media accounts, since Skylar likes her privacy. The only post that technically features both of them is a picture from their wedding, showing just their hands with their new rings on display for all to see. Meera never explains and ignores all questions asked about the picture. She loves seeing people freaking out in the comments and making full-on conspiracy-level theories trying to figure it out.

💔 What’s the one fight that almost ended them?

Either a fight over Meera wanting to put herself in danger in the name of art, or about Skylar trying to get Meera to join The Higher Truth. Neither would want to back down and admit their wrong, which would put their relationship in jeopardy. As for how they would work through this? I… have nothing at the moment. But I’ll use the excuse that the prompt doesn't include that part to not figure it out!😅

👀 Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?

I think both would get jealous rather easily, but Meera would be the more obvious of the two. She has no issues with glaring at people for getting too close to Skylar or snapping at them when she thinks they’re trying something. Skylar would be less obvious since she’s good at keeping her emotions under control. But that doesn't mean her wide-eyed gaze can’t get people to quickly back off! While she may not get angry at others, she can certainly scare them off in other ways!

🩸 Who would literally kill for the other & who would help hide the body?

Would it be cheating to say Skylar would kill and Meera would hide the body since Skylar is a canon killer? But honestly, I can see it working both ways! Though I still think Skylar would be more likely to go for the kill than Meera, since Meera would prefer to ruin people’s lives so they have to live in suffering, rather than killing them. However, that doesn’t mean Meera wouldn’t hide the body for Skylar!

😶 Who’s terrified of saying “meet my parents” & why?

While instincts would say Meera, I think Skylar might be more scared of having Meera meet her parents. Skylar’s parents are probably a lot like her, so it wouldn’t surprise me that she would be scared of Meera meeting them and her parents not liking Meera. Because while Meera might have problems with her parents, the only thing she’d be really worried about is her mother embarrassing her, since she long stopped caring about what Elanore thinks about her life choices.

💫 Ten years from now, what random Tuesday are they spending together?

They’re living in a small house in the woods, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. Meera would be working in her art studio while Skylar meditates not far from her. No words are spoken as they simply exist together, Skylar’s calmness easing the stress raging in Meera as she fixes her art piece until it's perfect. And when it's time to call it a day, they relax in bed together before falling asleep, uncaring about anything but being with each other.

Shark… I think you might be on to something with this ship! They say opposites attract, and I feel like these two’s personalities would complement each other. Where Meera is impulsive and extroverted, Skylar is calm and patient. Awesome ship choice, Shark!

Aslan fell harder while Heimdall fell first.

For Heimdall, it wasn’t hard for him to fall in love with Aslan. On a cheesy level, he likes to say it was love at first sight. While he had heard about Aslan prior to meeting him, he didn’t know much about who he was. Upon meeting the man, he quickly found himself captivated by Aslan. Of course, things were awkward for them at first for many reasons, but Heimdall still found himself falling further in love with Aslan with each passing day.

For Aslan, he didn’t fall in love with Heimdall for a long time. Not because he didn’t like the man, but due to the trauma he struggled with from a previous relationship, he was scared to fall in love again. However, that doesn’t mean that feelings for Heimdall didn’t develop regardless. And once Aslan realized that Heimdall was nothing like his ex, he allowed his feelings to grow even more and found himself falling even harder for Heimdall.

😈 Who is more likely to start chaos “for the vine” & who films it?

Given that Aslan is practically chaos incarnated, he would start chaos “for the vine” while Heimdall, ever the supportive husband, films it. Most likely to show their friends and family as visual proof when they tell the story, since some are hard to believe without proof, even knowing Aslan is involved.

Both have been known to jump in front of the other to protect them from danger. But out of the two, Heimdall is more likely to do it since he can withstand more damage than Aslan, thanks to his Asgardian biology.

😳 What’s the most embarrassing thing they’ve walked in on the other person doing?

For Aslan, it was walking in on Heimdall while the man was trying (keyword being TRYING) to surprise Aslan by baking him cinnamon rolls. Of course, it would have helped if he actually knew how to make them instead of trying to make them by altering recipes for similar Asgardian desserts… Needless to say, Aslan walked in on the messiest kitchen he’d ever seen and the most annoyed Heimdall, too! But after a good laugh, Aslan helped Heimdall clean up and then taught him how to make cinnamon rolls.

For Heimdall, it was walking in on Aslan while he and JP were getting ready for a drag show. Heimdall didn’t know what that type of show was at the time, so he was utterly confused when he walked in on Aslan, who was half-dressed at the time. Needless to say, JP had to explain to a red-faced Heimdall what was happening, and after getting over the worst of his flusteredness, Heimdall was able to compliment Aslan on how good he looked. And going forward, he made sure to ask what goes on at Earth shows before entering.

👀 Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?

Aslan gets jealous more easily. He’s very insecure about himself and can’t help but worry in the back of his mind that Heimdall will grow tired of being with him and leave him for someone better. His jealousy isn’t very obvious, but Heimdall always sees past the carefully crafted mask Aslan has built over the years.

🍳 Who cooks & who sets off the smoke alarm trying to help?

I feel like most people would think Aslan is the bad cook out of the two, but in reality, he’s an amazing cook! He’s the one who cooks and bakes the most out of the two because while Heimdall isn’t a terrible cook, he has been known to set off the smoke alarm more often than not…

🛌 Who hogs the blanket & who ends up freezing dramatically?

Aslan does both. Heimdall runs hot (yes, Aslan has made jokes about this), so he doesn’t care much if Aslan hogs the blanket. But if there’s ever a night where Heimdall steals the blankets, Aslan will be so overdramatic about freezing to death until Heimdall relents and shares the blanket.

😴 Who falls asleep first & who watches them with heart-eyes?

Both have done each role. However, Aslan tends to fall asleep first because Heimdall has a harder time falling asleep. So, Heimdall will take the time to watch Aslan sleep, since when Aslan is asleep, he's at his most peaceful.

🩸 Who would literally kill for the other & who would help hide the body?

Both are capable of killing for the other and helping to hide the body. As for who is more likely to kill the other… Probably would depend on the victim!

🌪️ What’s the most chaotic thing they’ve done together on pure impulse?

Oh boy, that’s hard to say when Aslan is involved… Maybe the time Heimdall helped Aslan hack the sound system of an ambassador meeting so it would play “Never Gonna Give You Up” halfway through the meeting. Somehow, no one ever figured out it was them (though some ambassadors suspected), and along with getting away with it, they also got to end the meeting early!

Considering it seems like I keep finding more and more reasons to make James and Sam canon in my series, I think it would be a little hypocritical of me to say no!

🌹 Who fell harder & who fell first?

James fell harder, and Sam fell first.

James has zero experience with love before meeting Sam, unless you count some small crushes he had growing up. So, he didn’t realize what his growing feelings towards Sam were at first, but when realization hit, he fell HARD! Coupled with the fact that James had no clue what to do about these new feelings, he was a mess for a little while until things between him and Sam got figured out.

Sam fell first, not terribly long after meeting James. At the time, he wasn’t ready for a new relationship, but he didn’t ignore the growing feelings. He let the feelings grow over time until he was ready to tell James how he felt. He recognized his feelings from the beginning, and while he didn’t fall as hard and fast as James did upon realizing his feelings, Sam’s love for James grew bigger every day regardless.

🔥 What’s the pettiest thing they’ve ever argued about?

Not sure if “pettiest” is the right word to describe the cause of the argument, but they once argued over who Leonard (James’s dog) liked more. The argument technically went on for days as they tried to convince each other who Leonard loved more and spoiling the dog to win his favour. In the end, the argument ended in a tie as they were unable to agree on a winner. (Leonard was the real winner because he got as many treats, snuggles, playtime, and love as he could ever want with the two doting on him.)

😳 What’s the most embarrassing thing they’ve walked in on the other person doing?

For Sam, it was “walking in” on James while he was skinny dipping. Sam had only been told that James had gone for a swim in the lake near his hut, so he went to find his boyfriend and join him for a swim. However, no one told him that James didn’t own swim trunks (in hindsight, Sam should have figured James didn’t have any swimming clothes), so he didn’t understand why James looked so embarrassed when Sam arrived. Once James managed to nervously explain what was happening, Sam suddenly didn’t want to swim anymore. This was early into their relationship, so Sam and James have since gotten over the embarrassment and go swimming together all the time now.

For James, it was when he walked in on Sam (who was in his wolf form) chasing his tail. When in wolf form, canine instincts are heightened, and Sam is more likely to give in to them than when he is in his human form. At the time, Sam hadn’t felt embarrassed since his wolf was happily chasing his tail. It wasn’t until later when James told him that Sam immediately turned bright red and avoided making eye contact for the rest of the night.

👀 Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?

Both can get pretty jealous, but James is a little more prone to it since Sam is much more sociable than he is, so Sam is more likely to have others gravitate toward him than James is. James isn't very obvious about his jealousy, at least not to those outside his family and Sam. Others just think he’s being scary and intimidating when he glares at them, but those who know him well can see past the glare to find the hidden insecurity.

🍳 Who cooks & who sets off the smoke alarm trying to help?

Both are pretty good cooks, but Sam has been known to set off a smoke alarm or two over the years. The only reason James hasn’t is because his hut doesn’t have a smoke alarm. Sam calls it cheating, James just laughs.

🛌 Who hogs the blanket & who ends up freezing dramatically?

Sam is the blanket hog. James is pretty used to sleeping in colder weather from living in the woods without modern heat, so he lets Sam get most of the blankets. Sometimes, he’ll pretend to be annoyed by the blanket stealing, but he finds it cute when Sam wraps himself up in a blanket cocoon, so it's worth being a little cold, especially when Sam will cuddle close to him in his sleep.

😴 Who falls asleep first & who watches them with heart-eyes?

James falls asleep first because Sam is a night owl, unlike the hunter. With Sam staying up later than James, he’ll often have the time to admire his sleeping boyfriend before joining James in the land of dreams.

🩸 Who would literally kill for the other & who would help hide the body?

Both would frankly do either role. Though Sam might be more likely to actually kill someone… And of course, James would help hide the body.

When Samuel and Donna met, it was like love at first sight. They felt drawn to one another, like two attracting magnets. Love quickly bloomed between them, and it felt as if they’d found exactly what they never knew they were looking for. No matter how tough times got or the challenges they faced, their love never faded. Even after Donna died, Samuel never felt the desire to seek someone new to love, his heart belonging to Donna in life and death. And when they meet again in the afterlife, their hearts become one again.

💚 Giving flower headcanon:

Samuel loved bringing flowers home for Donna, especially after a long, tiring day at work. Coming home and seeing his wife’s face light up with love and joy when she saw the flowers always brightened his mood. Donna had a collection of vases for the flowers to match the seasons and special occasions, and rarely did the vases go empty for long.

💙 Calming each other headcanon:

While Samuel is well known for his temper, Donna has an equally fiery one; she just has better control over it. When Samuel is angry, Donna lets him rant everything out, giving him time to get everything that’s annoying him off his chest before she offers some advice, solutions, or support, depending on the situation. Samuel does something similar whenever Donna is angry since he knows it's best to let her get everything out before trying to talk to her.

When Donna is sad, Samuel is always her shoulder to cry on while he listens to her tell him what happened. He does his best to support her and give Donna what she needs to feel better while reminding her how much he loves her. If Samuel is feeling sad, Donna is the one he can always trust to break down with without fear of judgment. She’ll console him and never make him feel weak for crying, and while sometimes he refuses to tell what’s wrong, Donna never forces him to talk but will always be there to listen when he’s ready.

🖤 Sex headcanon:

Must resist… Urge to… Bring up… The past… Fandom… Crack!

Samuel is good with his hands! (I’m sorry for bringing this back, but it's canon, and you can blame @ticcory for creating the words I will not say!) And so is Donna! These two are experts at pleasing each other and have skills none of their family, friends or coworkers would suspect them of ever mastering!

Samuel knows how to pleasure Donna like the queen she is and make her feel like the most important, well-loved woman in the world. He never ignores her pleasure during sex and would never deprive her of feeling good, not even when he’s lacking it. Donna loves it when Samuel touches her and how good he makes her feel, even when only using his hands. Likewise, Donna knows how to return the favour and won’t let her husband get left behind even after she’s finished. These two know exactly where to touch each other to send them over the edge, and their intimate time together is always full of love and passion.

When it comes time for Donna and Samuel to get ready for bed, the two go through their routines to get ready before cuddling together under the sheets. Both like to read a little before bed; sometimes, they read to each other or discuss the books they are reading. They like taking the time before going to sleep to enjoy relaxing in each others’ company. Once they’re ready to sleep, they’ll put their books away, turn off the lights and snuggle in, falling asleep to the sound of the others’ soft breathing or heartbeat.

💖 Morning headcanon:

Samuel wakes up first, while Donna sleeps in a little longer. If they have work, he kisses her before slipping out of bed to start brewing coffee. The rich aroma helps to wake Donna as Samuel begins making breakfast. Donna slides up behind him to hug her husband and exchanges a quick kiss before pulling away to pour the coffee. They finish making breakfast together while drinking their coffee before getting ready and leaving for work.

If neither are working, they’ll stay in bed and cuddle together until they’re ready to get up. Again, they share some coffee as they make breakfast at a leisurely pace, taking the time to have a lazy morning without worrying about being on time for anything.

😍 Expressing love headcanons:

Donna expresses her love through actions. A kiss on the cheek, fixing Samuel's tie, or packing his lunch, to name a few. Samuel loves and appreciates everything Donna does for him and always ensures she knows it. She loves doing little acts of love for her husband, and one of Samuel’s favourite displays of this is the little notes she leaves in his lunch for him. They never fail to fill him with happiness when he reads them at work, and he saves all of them as a reminder of Donna’s love and kindness.

Samuel expresses his love through actions as well, but also through words of affection. He loves telling Donna how much he loves her and how important she is to him. He secretly worries Donna will die before him, so he wants to do all he can to ensure his wife knows how much she means to him. For Fili X Adalet, 🎂, 🎤, and 🩹

🎂 How do they celebrate each other’s birthdays?

Both celebrate their birthdays very similarly. They wake up to being told “Happy Birthday,” then the other makes a special birthday breakfast for whoever’s birthday it is. Later on, they’ll have a small party with friends and family to celebrate with delicious food, cake, presents and games to enjoy. For extra traditions, Fili always gifts Adalet flowers, and she always bakes and decorates his birthday cake.

🎤 Who sings in the shower & who secretly records it for blackmail?

Both and both. Each has at least a few recordings saved of the other singing in the shower, much to the other’s embarrassment. Some of the videos aren’t for blackmail; they both love hearing the other sing, but they have been known to threaten to send one of the videos to family or friends to get their way.

🩹 How do they comfort each other after nightmares?

For Adalet, Fili holds her close and lets her listen to his heartbeat to help ground her back to reality. He’ll whisper words of comfort to her and remind her that she is with him, safe in their home with their children and that he’ll protect her. Once he can stop holding her for a moment, Fili will open their curtains so Adalet can see the moon and stars glowing in the night sky if it's a clear night. If Adalet still isn’t ready to fall asleep, Fili will put on her favourite playlist so that she can focus on the music to drown out the nightmares still screaming in her mind.

Likewise, physical touch helps ground Fili, too, but it sometimes takes him longer than it does Adalet to let her touch him. However, Adalet is patient and will wait as long as she needs to, until Fili is ready to be held. As she waits, she’ll turn on the nightlight they keep for times like this, as the soft little light soothes Fili. Once Fili is ready for Adalet to hug him, she will play with his hair and softly sing to him as he slowly comes back to himself. Sometimes, Fili needs to talk about his nightmare and other times he prefers not to. Either way, Adalet holds him close the rest of the night and will keep the night light on as well. Often, the night light stays on for a few nights following the nightmare, just like how they keep the curtains open for a few days for Adalet after she has a nightmare.

I think I’ve reached the conclusion that, as much as I love MotP, I’m getting tired of writing it. It's been YEARS! I have so many ideas to write and reveal in future seasons, and I’m so annoyed I can’t do that yet…

These two had such a beautiful love story with a tragic ending… After everything they went through (especially Zoe), they deserved a happily ever after! Why couldn't we have a wedding instead of a funeral?! I would have loved to have seen them get a better ending than canon…😭

So, to lift my spirits, let me see what headcanons I can create to give Zovid some well-deserved love!

♥️ Fight/makeup headcanons:

Jones and Zoe don’t fight often, but they have had disagreements. When they do fight, they’ll separate before or after reaching their limit and step away to cool down. Once they’ve had enough time to calm down and clear their heads separately, they’ll apologize for fighting and work together to fix the issue or move past the problem. Sometimes, it's not easy to find the solution, but they’ll do it together, and their relationship will always grow stronger as they learn to be better towards and for each other.

💛 Making each other laugh headcanons:

Jones loves making Zoe laugh by telling jokes or acting silly. His girlfriend always laughs at his jokes, even if they’re terrible, and will play along with his silly antics. Zoe can easily make Jones laugh by playfully teasing him until he gives her a smile. She likes doing this when Jones is feeling sad to help brighten his day.

💙 Claiming each other headcanons:

As Jones is known for his temper (though it has improved), it still doesn't take much to light a fire in him sometimes. When he does get angry, Zoe remains calm and uses her training to help him relax. Sometimes, she must wait for him to get his anger out by ranting, but she is patient. She’ll listen and talk to him so he knows he’s not alone in his anger and that she’s there for him. Once Jones has calmed down, Zoe will hug or kiss him to remind him that there is more to him than just anger, but it is alright for him to let his emotions out so they don't eat away at him.

Zoe has a much milder temper than Jones’s, but she’s more prone to getting worked up, especially with some of the things she sees through work. Seeing the conditions some of the kids are forced to live in is heartbreaking, and sometimes Zoe just needed to take a moment to let herself cry about the world's unfairness. She’s a very compassionate and empathetic person, and when she needs to let herself cry, Jones will be there to hold her. He knows not to promise that everything will be alright and get better because the sad reality is that is a wish that cannot always come true. But that doesn't mean he won’t do what he can to help Zoe feel better and remind her that she is helping to improve people’s lives; it just won’t happen instantly or how she might think, but things can improve in time.

💜 Planning the future headcanons:

Before Zoe was kidnapped, Jones and she had talked about their future together. Since Jones has been married before, he wanted them to discuss it and consider everything before taking the big leap into marriage. They also talked about the possibility of having children. During his first marriage, Jones was worried about starting a family, but with Zoe, he felt they could have a happy family together. Sometimes, he would dream about a future where they had a kid or two who shared their features. Zoe would, too, and knows Jones would make a wonderful father, and she would love to start a family with him.

After Zoe was found and recovering from her kidnapping, Jones never brought up discussing their future together. He wanted Zoe to be able to focus on her recovery without worrying about the future. But after her memories returned, she and Jones began discussing their future. It may never be like they had imagined before the kidnapping, but they could still have a happily ever after together.

🖤 Sex headcanons:

Zoe and Jones didn’t have sex until they had been dating for some months. As quickly as their love grew, they still wanted to get to know each other before introducing intimacy to their relationship. When they were ready to take that next step, Zoe and Jones had never felt so connected to another person. It was a night of love and passion, exploring each other’s bodies in new, exciting ways. Basking in the afterglow felt like coming down from cloud nine. Following this night, they began having more intimate moments (some kinkier than others), but all of them were filled with love and deviation from each other.

💔 Bad date headcanons:

The first time Jones had Zoe over to his house for a dinner date, he would swear everything that could go wrong did! Some of the food was burnt, some was undercooked, the wine was terrible, and Astrid threw up on Zoe’s shoes. The only thing that did go right was the dessert, but Jones worried a chocolate cake wouldn’t be able to salvage the evening… But to his pleasant surprise, Zoe didn’t dump him and, in fact, told him it was one of the most memorable dates she’d ever had! Sure, maybe not for all the right reasons, but she could tell everything he did had all his love put into it, and that was more important to her than some wine and chicken.

💘 First meeting headcanons:

One HC I have for how they met was through work. Jones was working on a case that required them to call in social services due to a child being involved. Zoe was the case worker who responded, and that’s how the two became acquainted. Jones and Zoe kept in contact for work-related reasons, but after the case was closed, Jones wanted to get to know Zoe better outside of their jobs. So, he invited her out for coffee, which led to a second date, then a third, fourth, fifth… Eventually, they lost track of the number of dates they’d had. But that didn’t matter as their love grew with every date they had.

💟 Night headcanons:

Jones and Zoe love spending a cozy night in relaxing together after work. Sometimes, they’ll watch a show or movie together; other times, they’ll read or play a game. When it’s time for bed, the couple will go through their nightly routine before climbing into bed. Astrid loves snuggling with her favourite humans, and Zoe always cuddles her close while Jones spoons his girlfriend.

😍 Expressing love headcanons:

Jones expresses his love through acts of love as he sometimes has a bad habit of “putting his foot in his mouth,” so he lets his actions speak louder than his words. He loves showing his love for Zoe by doing things for her, from small acts like making her coffee to bigger things like fixing stuff around her house. Seeing her happy because of his acts of love always makes Jones happier, and if he can do something to make Zoe smile, especially on her sad days, Jones will do everything he can to make sure she knows how much he loves her and put that beautiful smile back on her face.

Zoe expresses her love through words. Unlike Jones, she is well-versed in selecting the right words for almost every situation, and telling people how much she loves them is no exception. She knows Jones also struggles with his self-esteem, so Zoe makes sure to remind him how wonderful he is in addition to her love for him. She adores watching Jones melt in happiness (and sometimes blushing in embarrassment) as she tells him how much she loves him, how amazing he is, and how lucky she is to have him in her life.
