Aslan fell harder while Heimdall fell first.
For Heimdall, it wasn’t hard for him to fall in love with Aslan. On a cheesy level, he likes to say it was love at first sight. While he had heard about Aslan prior to meeting him, he didn’t know much about who he was. Upon meeting the man, he quickly found himself captivated by Aslan. Of course, things were awkward for them at first for many reasons, but Heimdall still found himself falling further in love with Aslan with each passing day.
For Aslan, he didn’t fall in love with Heimdall for a long time. Not because he didn’t like the man, but due to the trauma he struggled with from a previous relationship, he was scared to fall in love again. However, that doesn’t mean that feelings for Heimdall didn’t develop regardless. And once Aslan realized that Heimdall was nothing like his ex, he allowed his feelings to grow even more and found himself falling even harder for Heimdall.
😈 Who is more likely to start chaos “for the vine” & who films it?
Given that Aslan is practically chaos incarnated, he would start chaos “for the vine” while Heimdall, ever the supportive husband, films it. Most likely to show their friends and family as visual proof when they tell the story, since some are hard to believe without proof, even knowing Aslan is involved.

Both have been known to jump in front of the other to protect them from danger. But out of the two, Heimdall is more likely to do it since he can withstand more damage than Aslan, thanks to his Asgardian biology.
😳 What’s the most embarrassing thing they’ve walked in on the other person doing?
For Aslan, it was walking in on Heimdall while the man was trying (keyword being TRYING) to surprise Aslan by baking him cinnamon rolls. Of course, it would have helped if he actually knew how to make them instead of trying to make them by altering recipes for similar Asgardian desserts… Needless to say, Aslan walked in on the messiest kitchen he’d ever seen and the most annoyed Heimdall, too! But after a good laugh, Aslan helped Heimdall clean up and then taught him how to make cinnamon rolls.
For Heimdall, it was walking in on Aslan while he and JP were getting ready for a drag show. Heimdall didn’t know what that type of show was at the time, so he was utterly confused when he walked in on Aslan, who was half-dressed at the time. Needless to say, JP had to explain to a red-faced Heimdall what was happening, and after getting over the worst of his flusteredness, Heimdall was able to compliment Aslan on how good he looked. And going forward, he made sure to ask what goes on at Earth shows before entering.
👀 Who gets jealous more easily & how obvious are they about it?
Aslan gets jealous more easily. He’s very insecure about himself and can’t help but worry in the back of his mind that Heimdall will grow tired of being with him and leave him for someone better. His jealousy isn’t very obvious, but Heimdall always sees past the carefully crafted mask Aslan has built over the years.
🍳 Who cooks & who sets off the smoke alarm trying to help?
I feel like most people would think Aslan is the bad cook out of the two, but in reality, he’s an amazing cook! He’s the one who cooks and bakes the most out of the two because while Heimdall isn’t a terrible cook, he has been known to set off the smoke alarm more often than not…
🛌 Who hogs the blanket & who ends up freezing dramatically?
Aslan does both. Heimdall runs hot (yes, Aslan has made jokes about this), so he doesn’t care much if Aslan hogs the blanket. But if there’s ever a night where Heimdall steals the blankets, Aslan will be so overdramatic about freezing to death until Heimdall relents and shares the blanket.
😴 Who falls asleep first & who watches them with heart-eyes?
Both have done each role. However, Aslan tends to fall asleep first because Heimdall has a harder time falling asleep. So, Heimdall will take the time to watch Aslan sleep, since when Aslan is asleep, he's at his most peaceful.
🩸 Who would literally kill for the other & who would help hide the body?
Both are capable of killing for the other and helping to hide the body. As for who is more likely to kill the other… Probably would depend on the victim!
🌪️ What’s the most chaotic thing they’ve done together on pure impulse?
Oh boy, that’s hard to say when Aslan is involved… Maybe the time Heimdall helped Aslan hack the sound system of an ambassador meeting so it would play “Never Gonna Give You Up” halfway through the meeting. Somehow, no one ever figured out it was them (though some ambassadors suspected), and along with getting away with it, they also got to end the meeting early!

One of the reasons why everyone thought your mating bond with Tarquin wasn't real, was due to your abilities. Heralding from the Winter Court, you're royalty and the power of ice flows strong through your veins.
But the Summer Court didn't need another Fae ruler who could heal or manipulate water. There were already many of High Fae who defended the Court with those abilities. But bringing new defences? That makes sense.
You can freeze any liquid, but the easiest to manipulate is of course, water. You can lower the temperature around you, creating ice out of the Summer Court's ocean if you so wished. Or create bridges, ice skating rinks, lower someone's temperature when they're ill etc.
The limits are only bound to your imagination.
