❝this is just boring, i just need to find something more fun to do. but oh well, at least i do have a good aim❞
He could feel someone glaring holes into his back as he stood, shoulders slumped and hands in his pockets, looking thoroughly bored. Usually, he enjoyed museums. He was a fan of history, had enjoyed it a lot in school. But he didn’t enjoy it so much when the prized pieces put on display became a pissing contest for socialites over who knew more about what period or who had more from whatever priceless collection they had outbid public museums for. He shot his own glare over his shoulder at the disapproving heiress - he swore he could see her reaching to clutch her pearls in indignation. “Remind me why I come to these things again?” He wondered aloud with a small sigh.

The museum buzzed with the hushed excitement. Exotic pieces weren’t a staple much in Central City due to the lack of security and people with heightened abilities. Caitlin circulated the room with a reserved expression. There was just so much at stake with Zoom and the rest of his minions for her to feel comfortable here. Her grip on her clutch seemed strangling in comparison to the women who seemed to be enjoying the evening for what it was.
“Hello,” she nodded her head to the person who appeared to her left.
Roy had arrived with Thea on his arm, fully intending to spend the rest of the night glued to her side. It was about the only way he was sure he could survive these kind of events, especially if history decided to repeat itself. He’d never met any of the Luthors, but given their reputations, he wasn’t hopeful of the night going smoothly. Unfortunately, Thea was a Queen, and a businesswoman, and these events were used almost solely for networking, so he had had to step aside for a moment while she dealt with whoever wanted her attention for the meantime. “Who wants to bet me by the end of this night a supervillain will crash the party? My money’s on 11pm.”
Oliver looked to his guards with a dismissive gesture. They’d bee hovering ever since the last threat on his life. He didn’t need them as a shadow tonight. He just wanted to get through this and get himself to Ivy Town.
It had been a while since Pamela had enjoyed anything close to one of these events. Len’s company, and even Eobard’s, in the ride over had put her in a sufficiently good mood, however. And it helped that she had already spotted a few pieces that could fetch quite the price on the black market, if the mood hit her. And a few old idiots with too much gold lining their pockets had spotted her. “Say what you will about the Luthors, they’ve always known how to throw a party.”
Iris smiled at the waiter who offered her a drink when she walked in. After thanking them she looked around sipping on her drink. “You know the drinks are probably the best part of these things.”

“I’m a little busy,” Tim said coolly to the person approaching him. He was concentrating on something on his cellphone. “I think you should mind your own business and be on your way.”
