Send a 👫 and I’ll write four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship // still accepting
1. After meeting with Constance a few more times at the shop and cafe, Jackson starts spending most of his breaks with her whenever she’s around. He asks her about her day and vice versa for her as well. The guy doesn’t have too many friends, preferring to keep a small circle of them so he can manage his time in college and work better, so it’s nice that he was able to befriend the writer. It breaks his usual routine, something he’s oddly pays close attention to, but he knows that life’s short and set-in-stone things will probably be the death of him. It’s a good thing Constance is there to prevent that by just hanging out with him.
2. His boss at the book shop, Kenneth, asks him about her every now and then. The man had been set on bringing her in for a book signing after he’d finish reading her book and was ecstatic when Jackson brought her in for them to arrange it. The man also offered her a job at the shop should she decided to leave Cosmo and has recommended her book to many friends. Her book, Stuck, is still in the front window display which Jackson cheekily points out to Constance whenever they enter the shop.
3. There are moments where he notices what he calls her “8 tick”. He isn’t sure when he first saw it or maybe it was over time while hanging out with her that he begins to really see it. It wasn’t anything outright the first time, just an every now and then observation that he got when his mind starts to wander a bit while around Constance. Jackson was reluctant about it for a while but eventually caved in and asked her about it.
4. It’s an odd occurrence, but there are times where Jackson’s Irish accent comes out whenever he’s talking to Constance. This typically happens whenever he’s around others with a similar accent to his so for it to come out while around an Oxford girl was more or less entertaining. So for fun, the two of them pretend to be tourists from Europe while they go out places like a restaurant for example. The results are absolutely worth it in his book.
