clashing blades;
@ccxryuji:
A Japanese dojo was honestly not his typical place to visit, but Qiling has no choice. Despite coming from an entirely different background when it comes to sword-fighting, he was still sure he could hold his ground pretty well. And what best to train one’s abilities and endurance, if not just pit themselves against stronger opponents?
Ryuji was really something, he had come to learn after several times sparring with the Japanese male - sometimes he did actually wonder if Ryuji was human. Qiling could pride himself with being one of the best in the games he plays, and his swordplay skills in reality wasn’t bad (he learned, of course), but he still pales in comparison to the other male.
It was the same that day, too - the blades of their swords clashed against each other, looking for an opening, and the male wasn’t giving up although his breaths were beginning to get ragged, and his hand shook slightly from the impact as he parried and countered the other’s attacks.
He needs to get better. Somehow.
