i need someone to write a coherent post about catholicism in clarissa's diy wedding because it's driving me insane but i can't put it into words. the church that was turned into a restaurant. the woman who grew up in the church-turned-restaurant as a lesbian and then has to watch the woman she's in love with get married there to someone else. the man who hasn't been to church since his mom died when he was seven going to look for guidance in a priest as a last resort. the amounts of catholic guilt that must run through amanda and mark alone would be enough to power a city. and not to even mention the tim of it all.

hi did you know that mark got a dog when he was six and he loved that dog so dearly and when he got it, his parents told him he had to prove that he was responsible enough to take care of it and then he's in the hospital after the car crash and all he can think about even while the doctors tell him about his mum and his dad's injuries is that they're gonna take his dog away, they're gonna take rover away because he couldn't take care of his parents so how is he responsible enough for a dog, and rover is his best friend but they'll take him away and he'll be all alone in that house and it's his fault
