New outfits for Crystal Prep attendees such as Frosty Orange, Alizarin Bubblegum, and Celery Stalk. Other CPA characters (such as Ginger Owlseye) had worn new outfits in previous shorts.
Subtle changes to existing designs. Curly Winds and Care Root are wearing slightly different versions of their debut designs. Namely, Curly sports a jacket, Care’s shirt is dotted, and their feet are more natural instead of hoof-like.
Alizarin Bubblegum x Celery Stalk was the focus of the entire short!
Sooo, Long story short, Ceb is a sad stalk. After being ripped almost in half by a god, rather than seeing him as a victim and the gods as monsters, his fellow vegetables saw the ordeal as the gods marking poor Ceb as a witch for surviving the traumatic experience. So they did what they believed was best and tossed the defenseless celery stalk out of their aisle, leaving him for the Dark Lord to pick up. Luckily he manages to hide from him just in time. To explain the witch thing, since there isn’t really much that I found on the produce aisle, I kinda picture most of the vegetables would be like super religious Puritans. So they don’t like anything out of their normal routines.
