Finally took the time to go back and give Farewell another shot, after giving up on it almost 3 years ago.

Long story short, I finally finished it.

This was one of those things that was on my gaming bucket list, and I'm so glad I can finally tick that off.

Gonna go sleep now, it's like 3am and I've spent the past few hours doing nothing but Celeste.

28th July 2024 - I finished my second complete playthrough of Celeste today by finishing Chapter 9 a year after I told myself I would… And I went above and beyond by getting the moonberry. I am genuinely shaking right now by how amazing I feel. I’m so proud of myself.

Celeste is my favourite game of all time and playing through it all again and accomplishing the moonberry is one of the highlights of my year. I love this game profoundly, and, it feels so good to feel so complete.

“I miss her too. But... I just want us to survive this.”

I can't have been the only one to have expected this to happen when Part of Madeline knelt down next to her in this scene. It would have been the perfect mirror image of last time.
