So I tried to respond to a post on here but idk it wouldn't post so I figured I'd make a whole separate post about it. The original post was putting a Romanticism lens on the whole Rooters arc thing thinking Ben as Alien X willed it into existence.

That's not at all how it works, it's canon the only 3 things that changed when he reacted the universe was the Mr Smoothy sign, his new hoodie, and the grape flavor being different. Everything else was perfectly the same since he recreated spacetime after the Anhilargh literally unmade it.

The changes are only there because that's how the metaphysics of Ben 10 works. Any large scale reality warping has unintended consequences and that's why Vilgax wanted Ben to use Ascalon to unmake evil. Not only would it have unintentional consequences but it would directly violate the Multiversal Preservation Act.

The Rooters were always retroactively a thing since Celestialsapiens are cononically responsible for all retcons and art style/voice actor changes due to being literal creator expies since everyone who's ever worked on Ben 10 has one. Ben didn't make the Rooters a thing they already were.

You know those Alien Force advertisements about Alien X that were all “Ben 10’s Most Powerful Transformation! Ben is Scared to Use Him!” ? When really Ben was all ‘well fuck these guys’. I think that the advert is actually how Gwen 10 would experience Alien X.

The late Derrick J Wyatt believed that Gwen 10 could get control of Alien X easier than Ben Prime did. Personally, I agree, so there has to be obstacles to prevent her from doing this, lest the show be trivialized by early full control Alien X.

First, I don’t think Alien X is apart of Gwen’s Recalibrated 10 (I personally just don’t think the Recalibrated 10 is as solid as the OG 10 so I feel comfortable changing it).

Gwen wouldn’t unlock Alien X until Gw10 So Long and Thanks For All the Smoothies, as apart of the Complete Omnitrix’s don’t let the user die failsafes. (Which is the first time Alien X gets to do anything important in the show anyway so it works out) After recreating the entire Universe, Gwen would be scared to touch on the transformation again. Which gives enough time for her to only gain greater control of Alien X like Prime Ben did.

If you think about it, Anodites and Celestialsapiens are conceptual opposites.

On the one hand, you have Anodites. They're known for being hedonistic free-spirits who often use their power for self-satisfaction and, judging by how Verdona spent decades on Earth and needed to reconnect with her roots, or how she probably had to be far from Anodyne to be captured in the first place when she met Max, it wouldn't necessarily be far-fectched to say they have an adventurer, wanderer side that makes them leave Anodyne for unspecified periods of time.

But on the other, you have Celestialsapiens, who not only prefer to be home at the Forge of Creation, surrounded by their kind and away from everyone else, but are so (ironically) restricted in the use of their powers that they literally have to come to an agreement with themselves before they can do anything.

And speaking of powers, Anodites actually only have control over one thing; mana. And yet, their power over it is so vast it becomes an incredibly versatile ability that even allows them to mimic a Celestialsapien's reality-warping, albeit to a lesser extent. Whereas Celestialsapiens, who are canonically the most powerful species of the universe and, by definition, have power over practically everything, have no control over mana, and are therefore incapable of imitating an Anodite's natural abilities.

Also, appearance wise, both species are humanoid while being distinctively non-human. However, it's rather ironic how Anodites, the show's most recurring energy beings, are much more human than Celestialsapiens (do we even know what they're made of?) and their bodies don't look as ethereal. While Anodites are made of compressed mana (which makes them look more solid) and are very expressive, both through facial expressions and their "hair", Celestialsapiens look like literal humanoid galaxies and lack any form of expression.

And finally, even though we've seen both male and female Celestialsapiens, only male ones have had any real relevance (except perhaps that one Celestialsapien Mother) as opposed to Anodites, who were all female as they appeared in the franchise.

But the craziest thing by far has got to be that this is all likely a coincidence.

Encouraged for me to make from the Ink Tank Sever, meeting Titania (Titan), the nonbinary Celestialsapien/Anodite hybrid.✨ Titania's birth circumstance was...an odd story. Their father, Atlas, was a curious Celestialsapien that one day started pondering what a anodite and celestialsapien hybrid could turn out to be like, so needing to answer that question, he of course tracked down an anodite, a woman named Sidra, and proceeded to ask pretty straight forward if she could help in his experiment. She, being wild and keen to bag a celestialsapien, was like "hell ya!" and that is how Titania was born. Titania doesn't have the celestialsapiens god-like powers, but they have powerful magic beyond anything seen among Anodites. And yet....Titania doesn't really do much with it. The expectation to be a god, lord, or something big and powerful wasn't really what they were into, and lives a pretty casual like, with the mentality that just because they could be a god, doesn't mean they have to. They mostly live with their mother, while their father visits from time to time.

Celestialsapien (Alien X’s species) Headcanons

What’s Canon

Celestialsapiens are a race of omnipotent beings, native to a location outside the universe known as the Forge of Creation. The majority of the species prefer their shrouded lives here, often choosing to ignore the going-ons of the rest of existence.

Celestialsapiens are the most powerful species to ever exist, possessing absolute control over reality, space and time. Their powers are near limitless, as a Celestialsapien can make its very thoughts become reality with ease.

However, Celestialsapiens possess two innate personalities inside themselves, with examples such as a Voice of Love and Compassion or a Voice of Rage and Aggression. Both of them will have to agree with each other in order for the Celestialsapien to perform any sort of action, even something as little as moving an arm or leg. Due to these personalities often contrasting one another, this is a rather rare occurence and debates between the two can often last thousands of years. One thing that all Celestialsapiens can agree on however, is that Professor Paradox is forbidden to be within 500 light years of any of them.

Headcanons

The reason why Professor Paradox is forbidden to be within 500 light years of a Celestialsapien is because he is the one who acquired the genetic material for the Omnitrix that would become Alien X. Celestialsapiens do not possess actual DNA, but rather a substance similar to stardust.

While not Gods themselves, they are technically a component of one. The Forge of Creation is itself part of “God”, a being that is the very source of existence itself. Each Forge of Creation in each alternate universe is a part of this being, having infinitely split itself apart after creating existence to keep it together. Being formed inside the Forge of Creation, Celestialsapiens could be considered the white blood cells of the Omniverse.

The Contemelia were brought into existence by a Celestialsapien who wanted life to exist in an otherwise barren omniverse. Governed by the personalities Lovas and Carus, it set them out on an endless mission of creation.

A select few Celestialsapiens are known to live outside the Forge of Creation. At the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy, just before where the To’kustars stand guard, lies the Zvezda Nebula. Inside this nebula lies a cluster of stars, each of which holds a Celestialsapien at the very center. It is unknown why they have chosen to do this.

Although Celestialsapiens do occasionally reshape the universe, changing appearances or even bringing new things into being, they have extremely strict rules on what is and isn’t allowed. If a Celestialsapiens abuses their power for uncalled-for and meaningless destruction, such as the specimen that caused the Galvan Extinction in the “Nega” universe, they will be sentenced to a fate comparable to death where they are transformed back into the essence of the Forge of Creation from whence they came.

Much like how To’kustars protect galaxies from external threats, each universe has a Gaurdian Celestialsapien to watch over it and protect it from extradimensional threats. The protector of the “Prime” universe is a Celestialsapien know as the Galactic Gladiator. However, this protection is only against outside threats. Anything that happens inside the universe itself is often ignored.

The Galactic Gladiator had previously defended their universe against the “Old Ones”, demonic energy-being entities seeking to conquer reality itself. They had completely wiped out every single one countless eons ago, although Dagon came into existence at a later point from the combined remaining energy.
