Some portraits I made of my ocs, there’s so much to do still… and to design…

It’s always awkward to start an account because you don’t really know what to say or post but I intend here to be a much more intimate place where I post a bunch of random things and I get to yap because it’s kind of the place to do that.

Also I’m gonna speak English because why not and not everyone I know speak French so it’s easier to talk and explain things. What’s cool about this place is I can edit things as I go because I always like to come and add and it’s not something I can really do on Instagram.

So yea Its gonna be the place of mostly sketches like here for exemple.

I’ve been coming back to my project I did last year, cause it had been a while I didn’t mess with it (except Elio fanart but anyway) and I kinda missed it, plus it’s always good to prepare things early for artfight cause I’m planning redoing the profiles I did for my ocs last year.

Anyway I had done a quick front and side view of my sun king Elio cause I hadn’t done one before and I needed it to work on his 3D model (it’s tough but we’re getting there) and this week I did one for my cloud guy Cumulus. I’ve been wanting to redesign him for a while cause I really didn’t like his clothes, it was too medieval fantasy and really didn’t fit the overall theme, I always thought he looked really odd next to all these ppl dressed in mid 19th century clothes. And today I colored him to have a little idea cause the colors was also smt I didn’t like that much. I did Elio too because his color palette is already set in stone and yea. There’s still I want to change cause I’m felling like Elio is a little too skinny still idk.

Lastly that drawing I did of Elio is for smt Im doing with some friends and our ocs and needed to do a little pose for Elio. I wanted it to be a little goofy and eventually came up with this where he is using his powers (I have two others maybe I’ll post them later)

I also had a drawing of cumulus in his giant cumulonimbus form but I wasn’t sure wether to post it or not cause I’m still not sure how to handle nudity even though it’s really slight like we see nothing and I know this place has no problem with it so we’ll see.

Anyway I hope I’ll get to post a lot and welcome for everyone reading even though it’s gonna be mostly ppl I know.

Elio ref I made for artfight this year. Really proud of how he turned out. Also he’s supposed to be hairy on the naked one but listen… body hair is hard…

Figuring out some designs and some Elio stuff.

Iris, the rainbow sister is a character that I was really not satisfied with the first design, so she was one that I was most look forward to redesigning, It’s also when I kinda choose a more realistic approach, making her dress more historically accurate, and looking over some pairings, rather than just taking inspiration, even though it’s not 100% realistically accurate I’m still really happy of how she came out. Same for Aurore even though I didn’t include her final design here, just the research.

The two others are just sketches, characters that I already like and wanted to redraw but will talk about later.

Also Elio’s age stages, prob will come back on that later on

Still some work on my ocs from my personal project. Here is actually a character I haven’t drawn in almost a year, Atlas the moon brother. I really like him but I feel like I need to work on him a little still but yea.

Also I kind of want to do a 10 styles type of thing (idk if I’ll complete it but I’ll try) using my oc Elio. Here I draw him in my little pony and cookie run because I feel like these are two very style wise definite universes in which it’s fun to adapt character too. I also drew him with a miraculous because I had too it’s a tradition at this point. The miraculous that fitted him best is the dragon cause yea obviously, regal and weather power even though with some though the rooster would’ve been good too. The sword also makes sense so it’s cool. I drew him both in his own universe period and lore wise and in a more modern super hero secret identity setting. I think both suit came out pretty good so I’m pretty helot with them.

I’ve also started to work on a base to draw all his outfit on but I’ve struggled a bit tonight with it and decided to just sleep on it and continue later. I’ll show it here when I’ll bad worked on it a little more.

I’ve been coming back a little to my personal project the celestial weave cause I feel I hadn’t evolve it too much last year and I’ve been thinking about it a lot. One of my characters that I redesign on my first post is a cloud character and I never gave it much thought but I’ve been thinking about a new species in this world and playing with this concept, elementals.

So like elements taking form and becoming a sentient entity and it’s been fun but has been raising a lot of question in my head so I’ll think I’ll drop it here for now, think about it more cause it’s kind of starting to burn me out because I’m trying to make them work but they’re still so early in their concept. But it allows for some cool ideas. Here I drew some fun characters, like the sea fisherman, the fire librarian and lamplighter, the dort courier and the light thief. One of the things I’m struggling with is how they come to be, do they have organs, do they have elemental powers and so can they all shapeshift? Meaning they can all basically choose their most ideal form which is cool in some way but idk. Same do they have eyes and teeth and ears? How do they function? If someone’s read this and has some idea tell me please.
