Ok so basically
Cossy isn't even a pippins ＼(^^)／
Great starter right lemme explain (im gonna have to explain a few different concepts first tho)
Basically cossy is half celestian, specifically star celestian.
celestian are basically my version of aliens I guess. But I normally describe them as space people. They are (first there can be more divisions) into two groups, star celestians and planetary celestians.
Now its hard to describe them with no reference, but i do have some celestians on my gacha so ima use those. (Woe yuri be apon thee and starling)
Im gonna start with star cause that one is more relevant
Heres some examples of star celestians from one of my magical girl series starie magical gorls, koa and starling.
Star celestians of course, look like stars, specially the base ones look like more cartoonish stars (there is a iteration of star celestians called "realistic star celestians" who do look like actual stars) there color is determined by how warm they are (like actual stars) red being the coldest and the most common and a purpleish blue being the warmest and the most rare, (koa is just blue not purple blue) and yellow is a mutation of white because yellow stars don't actually exist so they share the same rarity with white star celestians. Star celestians have 2 different kinds forms they can take, a tangible form where they can interact with objects and stuff, and an intangible form where they basically just become like gas i guess, they still keep there normal shape tho. This make star celestians notoriously hard to kill. (To kill any type of celestians you either need to 1. Completely drain their blood, or two, chop off their head)
Now on to planetary celestians
Heres an example of a planetary celestian (her name is lunette)
Planetary celestians look like balls of rock, and that's because they basically are, unlike star celestians, Planetary celestians come in a lot more colors than just the theoretical 6 that star celestians have. And again unlike star celestians, Planetary celestians are quite cold. There coldness stays mostly consistent between celestians, but some are colder (in one au i made there were ice crystalline celestians). Planetary celestians are easier to kill than star celestians, but its still quite difficult if you don't have the right equipment, because they ARE LITERALLY MADE OF ROCK.
And as you see in my Planetary celestian reference photo, her head looks a little funky. Thats because she is a subset of Planetary celestian, called a "crescent celestians". Sometimes when Planetary celestians are created, their head dosnt fully form, giving them the crescent shape. The celestian is perfectly fine though (unless the crescent forms around their neck then they would be dead) it actually helps them in some cases, because sence more of the celestians magic is stored in there head, crecent celestians have more magic in their actually body to use. In some cases tho, depending on how big the crecent is (again like the photo) it can mess with their face a bit, like getting rid of one or both of their eyes.
Now I've referenced there magic a bit, but not how it works, so im gonna explain that now
Basically my magic system relies on the concept of "pure magic"
Pure magic is, its exactly what it sounds like. Magic in my cannon is very dense, so when there is a lot of it in one place, it comes together into a liquid. Humans do in fact have pure magic, most beings have pure magic, its there soul, most being only have like a cup or a few of pure magic in them, and it resides in the blood. The more pure magic you have, the more you are in tune with magic in general, people with a higher pure magic content are usually mediums (people who can communicate with the dead). You can generally tell if you have a higher pure magic content by looking at your blood, if its kinda sparkly, like someone put a small amount of glitter in it, you probably have a higher pure magic content.
Now how does this fit with celestians
Celestians only have pure magic, they are kinda built like a pure magic gusher. The pure magic kinda acts as their blood. And because of that, they can perform magic. You need at the LEAST more than the normal human amout of blood in pure magic in you to perform magic (around like 3-5 gallonsish)
ALSO EXTRA ADD ON. When celestians well start existing they have this litter charm thing that can be mostly just described as a "weppon charm"
And now im gonna shift back to cossy because that's what I need to explain now
How does this all fit to cossy
To put it simply, one of cossys parents, was a celestian, specifically a white star celestian. (Btw celestians reproduce ritualisticly not like humans do, and also very erelevant to the topic but star celestians can also reproduce asexualy by literally just exploding)
Basically she is a pippins with the blood content of a celestian, which technically makes her not have a soul because its her magic which technically in my cannon makes it so she just, dosnt have a light world counterpart , that's why at the beginning I was like "cossy isn't even a pippins ＼(^^)／" but anyways.
Some celestian traits she exhibits are, of course the pure magic blood, slightly glowing, having star shaped pupils or smth like that idk how to describe it, having a weppon charm (her sniper rifle) and generally just being able to perform magic better than most pippins. She also has an in cannon gajinka form but not too important. (Her blood is white btw)
