週末は家族の予定があり静岡県へ。夜には予定が空いたので車に詰んだままにしていた望遠鏡を持って朝霧高原に行きました。久々にオールナイト撮影。やはり暗い空は素晴らしい。去年から撮影を始めて、M51銀河はかなり満足行くクオリティになりました。20-30年前に児童書でみた天体を中心に、まずは手持ちのデジタルカメラで色々撮っていきたいです。 EdgeHD800 直焦点、EOS Kiss x2、ISO800、SE2J赤道儀、QHYガイドスコープオートガイド、APTまでは共通。M51子持ち銀河は600s x 7,M104ソンブレロは600s x 5,M57ドーナツは60s x 12！DSSでスタックし、Photoshopで調整。 #celestrontelescope #天体写真 (朝霧アリーナ) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcL-2EXhL-8/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

最近の自宅天体写真。今回は久々に重くて大きいEdgeHD800をベランダに出しました。天体写真撮影への理解と練習で系外銀河M51 #子持ち銀河 M97 #ふくろう星雲 M3球状星団を狙ってみました。撮影と画像処理の基本的な手順を理解すべく、まずは安い機材でと2000円で買ってきた無改造のEOS kiss x2とフリーソフト(最終的な調整はPhotoshop)を組み合わせてやっています。次回はFBのリプライでリクエストがあった月面を狙ってみようと思います。 #celestrontelescope #edgehd800 #eoskissx2 (Tama-ku, Kawasaki) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZGzqNSF_HZ/?utm_medium=tumblr

2016年にシマノバイカーフェスのキャンプで観た天の川に年甲斐もなく感動して20年以上ぶりに再開した天文趣味もそこそこ継続できていて、この先も続けていきたいなと思い、年明けからの残業代を注ぎ込んで子供の頃憧れだったセレストロンの望遠鏡を買いました。架台はKenkoの自動導入付きのSEII-J赤道儀。このクラスの望遠鏡と架台は使ったことないのでセットアップに四苦八苦しつつ、昨晩ファーストライトをしてきました。口径の大きな望遠鏡で見る星々は凄いですね！デジイチでの写真撮影にもトライしましたが中々難しい。これは練習あるのみですね。#celestron #celestrontelescope #kenkotokina #天体観測 (河口湖総合公園) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNhWtLpF3M8/?igshid=l55slh0h1brc

Sh2-142 | Wizard Nebula in HOO Palette. This image was captured almost 3 months ago and processed then as a predominantly Hydrogen II object (https://www.clayhausphotography.com/backyard-beyond/e504e7cb0). However, there is a fair amount of Oxygen III in the nebula so I thought that I would have a-go at HOO processing. The blue color represents the excited oxygen molecules. NGC 1975 - NGC 1977 | Running Man Nebula ... As much as I'd love to shoot this again, on account of more clouds, moisture, etc., for now, I just have to be satisfied with this re-processing of data from early December of 2021. Taken with my then newly acquired 1980's-era SCT 8' (thanks again Rob!), the five hours of capture in my Salt Lake City light-polluted backyard yielded some very nice results of this reflection nebula in Orion. Sh2-142, the Wizard Nebula. This emission nebula is a large, diffuse HII region in the constellation Cepheus and is ionized by the binary star DH Cephei, which is the bright star just about centre in the image.
