certifiedcervine replied to your post: Hi! I've seen people use a lot of different things...
If you can figure out the material, you’re set! Plastics usually have a code on them somewhere that details if they’re safe for food. Other stuff like rocks varies depending on the type. Quartz is fine, but something like turquoise won’t be. Just google it and you should get the answer!
Fredi died ): after being in the dine with shamu pool in that freezing water, covered in festering lumps, it doesn't surprise me. Poor Fredi...
I saw that she’d passed. I think the whole situation is very sad. SW claims that she’d had health issues the entire time. I think it’s dreadful that they had a rescue, with clear health issues, on display and used for entertainment.Did anyone- anyone -learn anything from that? Or was a sick animal exploited under the guise of parading rescue, for years? (Perhaps wondering if her early life in the ocean was a fever dream...)
Bruh why do you have to have such a cocksucking personality
dont know what this one means or if its even a compliment but seeing “why do you have such a cocksucking...” appear in my inbox after the last guy was not fun
My boy is medicated and also going to the vet, and I'm not asking for advice here :0 But have you ever heard of a cat allergic to an unknown substance just getting all scabby? This poor idiot must be allergic to human dandruff or SOMETHING. Maybe bugs? Idk. Ridiculous.
For most allergies, we don’t actually know what they’re too, we just know they exist.
Most of the time an intradermal allergen test is required to know exactly what a cat is allergic to, which is a yes/no test for numerous locally common allergens, it doesn’t test every potential allergen under the sun, because everything is a potential allergen.
Sometimes an elimination period helps identify the culprit, especially with food. For example if you stop feeding chicken for 2-3 months and the symptoms go away, the cat might be allergic to chicken. If you then test feed chicken for a day and all the symptoms come back, then it’s definitely allergic to chicken.
A lot of the time we don’t figure out exactly what the allergens are (as there may be more than one) but just a combination of management and medication to keep those symptoms under control.
Identifying and removing the allergen is ideal, but not always physically possible.
Hey I wanted to make sure and apologize if I've ever been rude to you. I remember asking about why you still went to Seaworld despite being anticap but I don't know now if my wording was hateful. Have a nice day!!!
Oh– I don’t remember seeing that? Or remember it.But thank you anyway, for the apology.
We have our reasons for still going to SeaWorld despite being anti-cap– reasons we would rather not have out on the internet. Sorry to be vague, but.. that’s just how it’s gotta be unfortunately.
Thank you for understanding.

Have you heard about Dolphinaris Arizona being temporarily shut down after the fourth death?
Yes, I have - it’s a relief to hear. (Apologies for not being super on top of news on this blog rn, I’ve been very busy and more active on Twitter because it’s far faster to use on mobile.) Here’s a link to the news for those interested: https://www.azfamily.com/news/dolphinaris-arizona-announce-temporary-closure-in-wake-of-latest-dolphin/article_c8c7dd8e-29a8-11e9-ad47-b32ae1a04040.html Of particular relevance is that the remaining dolphins are being moved away from the facility for this shutdown, but an exact timeline hasn’t been provided.
