I hate TikTok because I made a video saying that the fact that the only way to detect cervical cancer was to pry open the vagina and swab is ridiculous, and said there should be more options. And if we really cant get any other options, at least find a way to do biopsies through the skin like you would a liver or Lung biopsy for people who experience traumatic events and/or SA and cannot do vaginal exams and i got ATTACKED in the comments saying i was "so fucking dumb" and "dramatic". One person said that we had a system that works and "they have more important things to worry about" and it just goes to show that people really do not care about people the way they should. You should WANT other people to have good medical experiences. You should WANT people to have a positive relationship with medicine and doctors. You should want people to have OPTIONS when it comes to their health! One person said I was "embarrassing myself" after I said "options are so incredibly important, especially when dealing with procedures like this" and I genuinely cannot fathom how caring about other people is considered "embarrassing." It is not unreasonable to say that in this day and age, with how technology and medically advanced we've gotten, we should have more than one method to screen for cervical cancer in AFAB individuals.
HPV awareness and education is the key for preventing various HPV-related cancers. One of them is cervical cancer, a disease that kills thousands of women every year. Being a virus-borne infection, HPV infections are communicable that can travel among people through skin-to-skin contact (sexual intercourse). There are over 100 strains of HPV, more than 40 of which are passed through sexual contact and can affect your genitals, mouth, or throat. Genes2Me HPV-Q Comprehensive Real-Time PCR kit screens for the presence/absence of HPV in genotypes. Take the test today to determine your risk of HPV.

HPV Vaccine Awareness
HPV(Human Papilloma virus) is a group of more than 100-200 related viruses which can cause various diseases like genital warts and cancer.
CANCER is the majorly reported disease by HPV.
The rates of Cervical cancer are the highest. The symptoms are not visible at early stages.
Certain symptoms of cervical cancer includes:
Pelvic pain while intercourse.
Vaginal watery discharge with foul odor.
Vaginal bleeding after intercourse or periods.
Also the risk of HPV increases when a person has STI's like chlamydia, gonorrhea, AIDS, syphilis etc. as the immune system is already weak and the onset of HPV worsens the immune system.
HPV VACCINE:
This vaccine is available for children and adults aging from 9-45 years .The dosage period differs in children and adults.
Children from 9-15 years need only two doses while adults from 15-45 years need three subsequent doses.
Currently the vaccine forms includes VLPs(virus like particles) formed from surface components of HPV.
According to the analysis by cancer.gov the diagnoses of anogenital warts decreased by 31% among women aged 25–29 years, by 48% among boys aged 15–19 years, and by 32% among men aged 20–24 years, compared with the period before vaccination began.
No serious side effects of these vaccines are observed. Pain or soreness at the injection site is just the side effect or post vaccination effect observed.
