I like to think people used to say she will grow out of those ears one day.
False. Adult Nailo is like 80% ears.
The pro is that she is now a very efficient surveillance system for the Emerald Grove.

Earth Elemental, Part 3
A couple of updates this week: firstly, I now have a Ko-Fi donation page! If you like what I do then please consider supporting me with a donation – any amount is greatly appreciated. You can find it here: https://ko-fi.com/cyanoferret. Secondly, I now have a shiny new page over at ArtStation (www.artstation.com/cyanoferret) for anyone interested in more professional-level networking.
To celebrate, I’ve got a double update this week, rounding out the Earth Elementals. Up first we have a design which is maybe more of an earth spirit than an elemental. I tend to think of elementals as a bit more “primal”, a manifestation of part of a greater force, whereas spirits are maybe a bit more independent, with their own individual sentience. I tried to imitate some aspects of classical Greek statues and dress in the design; the original idea was to have an “animated statue” look, but when it came to colouring I ended up giving a bit more differentiation to the skin, fur, and clothing.
Stay tuned for another update with the final earth elemental tomorrow! (Though you may be able to see it early over on my Ko-Fi page…)
