A’loq’s past reincarnation from the Fifth Astral Era: Nimue, convoy (and lover) of High Voidmage Cessair. She was not native to the Dark City of Mhach, but resided there of her own volition for unknown reasons. Her talent for harnessing the power of voidsent was recognized, and she was assigned as Cessair’s personal convoy and guard.

When Cessair was labeled a traitor for her anti-war sentiments and imprisoned, it was rumored that Nimue was the one who captured her and turned her into the Coven. In reality, Cessair had turned herself in and Nimue acted as her eyes and ears in the world until she was granted a pardon to work on the Void Ark. Nimue also cared for her familiar, Cait Sith, in her absence.

In the end, Scathach proved to be stronger than any of the void mages present in the Void Ark. Nimue perished in her fight against the Shadow Queen, and Cessair and the 53 other void mages would sacrifice themselves to seal Scathach away.

I keep thinking about how Cait Sith is randomly in Elpis then I remember after some digging on the FFXIV forums.

So is it safe to say Cessair is the sundered version of this random NPC in Elpis?
