Ceyln Hawke headcanon:

Ceyln usually gets loud when she’s angry and smashy when she’s enraged and has no problem letting anyone know when she is mad. When her mother blamed her for Carver’s death months after the fact, she stands up and slams her hands on the table in front of her, and everyone’s holding their breathe because they expect her to go off on Leandra. Instead Ceyln is quiet for a long time, then whispers ‘He was my brother.’ She steps away, then silently leaves the house, and isn’t seen again for a couple days. Varric finds her drunk in an alley and takes her to the Hanged Man, where she stays with him for a week until Bethany comes to get her. Leandra tries to apologize, but it’s another week until Ceyln can even say a word to her. The incident is never talked about afterward, and Leandra never tries to place blame on Ceyln for Carver’s death again.
