Regarding Ceylon's species
I noticed earlier that Ceylon's real-world bird inspiration is listed as a blue jay on the wiki. However...
All of the birds in her E2 art look slightly different (which is... not great for bird identification LOL), but they're all a rich sky blue that's deeper on their backs and lighter on their fronts, with no distinguishing markings. The bird on the left does look a little blue-jay-like, but the others don't have the crest or the dark "necklace" that are characteristic of blue jays, and they look smaller than jays as well.
I think the most likely candidate for Ceylon's species is actually the mountain bluebird (Sialia currucoides), albeit with the male's brighter blue plumage. They're cavity nesters found at high elevations, even found nesting in lava fields and around dormant volcanoes, which would be a really cool tie-in to Ceylon's storyline in Siesta.
I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are and if anyone has other species suggestions! I also looked into some similar-looking species found in Sri Lanka (aka Ceylon), but the mountain bluebird won out for me in the end. I've attached a pic of a blue jay and a mountain bluebird for reference ↓
(Disclaimer it's a possibility that 1. there was no real-world inspiration and the artist just drew some blue birds lol, 2. i am completely wrong about this)
