Sollux became a demon because of his anger at, of all things, the mistreatment of honeybees. Eridan doesn't believe in angels despite being one himself. Lower Tadfield is now a mecca for witches, and the end is nigh (again). Who's to stop the Woegothics from unleashing Satan upon the world? That's right. Of course, the general consensus among most spellcasters and everyday people also agree that a monarch is automatically worthy of being trusted blindly, so most “general consensus” opinions are really worth a grain of salt, depending on who you ask.
