It's gives them the feeling of being able to continously spin the rope without it constantly catching their feet. They sell these in stores but, I made my own with 2 empty water bottles and an old broken rope. After giving it to them I realized I could use them myself. Because I'm doing something really fast does this count as cardio? Lol. Give it a try some time. Super proud of our Bar Bella! Staying in good spirits & getting after it. #Repost @beast.marie with @repostapp. ・・・ *Listen to audio* My mom is hilarious, such an old school Hispanic. Trying to do my PT approved exercises and she gave me an extra ab workout with her humor. I'm going to miss her when she leaves me to live on my own again. I love and appreciate her so much for being there for me, doing literally everything for me post surgery. I was cleared by the doctor today to do short walks around the house on my own, but everywhere else I still need the crutches. This made me so happy for the simplest reason, having my independence back. Something so simple as brining my food to the dinner table was impossible. Now mom can relax a bit more since I'll have more independence. Rehab in session!!! Wait until she is 100% peeps!!! She will be dominating again very soon! We are so happy she is in great spirits & still getting after it. #Repost @beast.marie with @repostapp. ・・・ Day 6: Doctor gave me lots of good news. My stitches are healing extremely well, I can start doing a 2 step walk with my crutches, physical therapy can start next week and best news of all.... I can start working out!!! Of course only seated weighted exercises for now. Just because one body part is down doesn't mean I can't work the others. No excuses, even for me. We all have to find the strength within ourselves to maintain that healthy lift style in order to reach our goals. I've got my @fiaspaleo and dad's weight set to keep me going. Happy Wednesday guys! Our coach Belinda is such an inspiration!!! Battling a pretty serious hip injury that she is going to recover from after surgery. We are learning together & creating different modify workouts that will allow her to still get after it! We know she will recover even better 300% stronger & we will be with her every step of the way!!! #Repost @beast.marie with @repostapp. ・・・ #teammodified One of the many movements I've had to modify because of that one bad hip. 10 days out from surgery so I'm trying to get in as much training as I can.
