Stride Gate Au where everything is the same except after being buried under a pile of rocks Shion is left paralyzed/unable to use his legs in some way and is wheelchair bound.
Because, that’s generally what happens to people when big ass rocks fall on them, traumatic injuries. And in his case, a broken spine/crushed pelvis and/or legs. Like, he should not have gotten out as injury free as he did.
And like, why not? This show is like, 90% cardfights anyways, which he can do from a wheelchair. I can’t imagine him being hindered *that* much by something like that. Like it’s Shion, he’s not gonna let something like that hold him back.
