Who do you think is the most mama bear-est out of all the caregivers (for example some jackass decides to make their baby cry)
Definitely Millie or carmilla.

Did vaggie feel really embarrassed when she got spit-up on her mami for the first time?
Ty for the ask! I was really hoping to get some for small moments and headcanons!
No doubt that Vaggie was embarrassed. She probably had just finished her bottle of milk in Carmilla's lap when her Mami holds her head over her shoulder. She thought it was just cuddle time but then she started lightly patting her back. Vaggie couldn't control it and let out a burp before a tiny bit of milk that hadn't fully gotten down yet, came up on Carmilla's shoulder. It overwhelmed her since it was her first burping and she had ruined her Mami's blouse, so she started angry crying in embarrassment. I headcanon that Vaggie gets really moody when embarrassed.
Poor Carmilla had to take a few weak kicks and punches before getting Vaggie to calm down. The baby's face was so golden that a minecraft piglin would leave her alone. She promised her that it was better out than in and her clothes could be washed and she wasn't angry.
Vaggie did not trust the bottle for a few days after that. But Carmilla promised her angel milk and that she would put a towel over her shoulder. Luckily, that got Vaggie to start drinking her baba again.
Im bored so imma ask for your headcanons
Who are lil Vaggie's caregivers? Does Vaggie like one more than the others?
Vaggie's caregivers are usually Charlie or Carmilla,but sometimes Clara will look after her (She still doesn't fully trust Zestial when she's regressed,though)
She loves all her caregivers the same,but her favorite parts of them are:
Charlie being able to always be super happy and cheerful(which always brings a smile to Vaggie's face)
Carmilla being a very good teacher,and having a schedule and structure
And Clara being the perfect amount of chaos,but not so chaotic that it's overwhelming
The more chaotic haloween part 2
Summery: Same TW as last time but also implications of an icky movie, mentions n**dles, and something about spiders eating their babies...

Now here's part 2:
~~~Carmilla and Lucifer:~~~
“Lucifer, are you sure about this?” Carmilla asks.
“Of course, I am excellent at ghost stories!” Lucifer says, bragging.
Carmilla rolls her eyes. “No, I mean…the girls were just screaming over a giant spider, I don't think a ghost story will ease their anxieties.”
Lucifer taps his chin. “Oh yeah…that's a good point.”
“Perhaps if we told them a nice story?” Carmilla suggests.
“I can do that- or better!” Lucifer says. He flies over to the girls. “Okay, kiddos! You want to play a game?”
“Oooh! Yes!” Charlie cheers.
“What kind of game?” Odette asks.
“The story game!” Lucifer says. “Everyone, if you would please follow me.” He leads the kids and Carmilla to the living room and he instructs them to sit in a circle on the rug.
“I will start a story, and then I will hand the storytime wand to Carmilla to continue it. We will pass the want and go around the circle, everyone adding to the story until someone gives it a good ending. Rules are, one concept each player, we gotta take turns in order to finish the story, no hogging the stick, nothing too scary but you can be as random and silly as you want. Got it?”
All the girls smile. “Got it!” They all say.
“Alright.” Lucifer picks up the toy wand. “Once upon a time, there was a big purple monster named louie.”
Lucifer hands the staff to carmilla. “Louie was incredibly strong and powerful.”
Carmilla handed the wand to Clara, who was next to her. Clara tapped her chin and then said: “But Louie had one problem. He was scared…scared of bugs.” Clara handed the wand to Odette.
Odette looked at Clara, then at the wand. “Whenever he saw a bug, he would hide away and cry. No amount of power or strength could ease his tension whenever he came across one.”
Odette hands the wand to Charlie.
“But then one day, Louie met a giant spider named Reginald!” Charlie says, handing the wand to Vaggie next.
“He saids, ‘My name is Reggie! Will you be my fwiend?’ and Louie saids yes.”
Vaggie handed the wand to Cherri.
“And then Reginald ate him!” Cherri says.
“What!?” Clara asks.
“No!” Vaggie argues. “Luci! Tell Cherri that not happen!”
“Cherri-”
“If I don't get my spider friend, neither does stupid Louie!” Cherri says.
Lucifer and Carmilla look at each other, then back at Cherri. “Cherri, that wasn't very nice.” Carmilla says.
But Charlie then takes the wand. “Reginald did eat Louie, but it was for a good reason for Reginald was expecting babies and had to eat to feed them all growing inside him!”
Everyone looked at Charlie, surprised, but then she handed the wand over to Vaggie, who smiled.
“Den, he had da babies and lived happily after ever!” Vaggie cheers.
“That was a weird story.” Odette says. “I hope Reggie doesn't eat his own babies, sometimes they do that.”
“They what!?” Charlie asks.
Husk, Baxter, and Niffty finally return with the spider. Husk was currently holding it. Needles and pins covered it as it struggled in his hands.
“Oh, hey!” Lucifer says cheerfully.
The girls scream. “He's gonna eat us! Run!”
“Girls, relax. It doesn't have a mouth.” Husk tells them, which calms them down. “Just turn it back into an Inanimate object before it stabs me again, please?” Husk asks Lucifer, struggling to keep a hold on the animated spider.
“Oh! Right.” Lucifer uses his want to turn the spider back to its normal wire self.
“Thank you.” Husk sets the thing down on one of the end tables. “How's it going here?”
Lucifer was about to say but Charlie interrupted. “We're playing a game that dad made up and it's so fun!”
“I didn't make it up-”
“Play with us!” Charlie interrupts again.
Husk looks at Baxter and Niffty who very excitedly join in.
“Cherri, you start.” Charlie says, handing over the wand.
Cherri thinks. “Once upon a time, there was a unicorn with a bow tie!”
She handed the wand to Niffty: “And he- he uh- he met a giant bug!”
“We already did the bug thing.” Clara complains.
“Clara, Niffty likes bugs, just let her have her fun.” Carmilla tells her.
The wand was handed to Baxter. “And the Bug was a famous inventor named Skeeter who wanted to disprove unicorn magic!”
“Okay, this got interesting.” Odette says.
~~~Rosie and Alastor:~~~
Rosie found Alastor right where she would expect. The nursery in her house is someplace he often keeps himself when overwhelmed or in need of any comfort.
It was sort of adorable that he found it so comforting, even when he's not regressed.
“Alastor?” Rosie asks. “May I come in?” She asks.
“It's your house, do as you wish.” He says back. His arms are holding his legs closely up to his chest while his face is buried in his knees. He doesn't dare face Rosie.
Rosie does so, walking into the room and sitting beside him.
“How did you know I'd be here?” Alastor asks her.
“You seemed distressed.” Rosie says. “I assume you'd stay in Cannibal town until you were ready for longer travel.”
Alastor nods. She certainly understood his strange mind…
They did know each other for a long time so, he supposes it was inevitable for her to pick up on some of his habits.
“Al, do you want to talk about your little outburst?” Rosie asks, crossing her arms.
“I'm sorry.” Alastor says to her. “I'm sorry I ruined your event- your holiday. It's not why I came here, I didn't want to-” He says, still looking down and not at her.
“It was optional, you know! You didn't have to be here!” Rosie says sternly.
“I know, I know!” Alastor says. “I know I didn't have to- I didn't mean to- I didn't!” Alastor says again, this time his voice breaking. “I'm sorry.”
“Hey,” Rosie moves Alastor's chin to face her. “It's okay. Do you think maybe you were lashing out because…you needed me to listen, but didn't have the words to ask me to?” She asks.
“What?” Alastor asks.
She thinks Alastor is little, or at least slipping. She sits down beside him and takes his hand. “Sometimes, when we don't have the words to say what we need to, we get frustrated and want people to know it. Is it possible that's what you were doing?” She asks.
Alastor shrugs. “I don't know…Perhaps.”
“It's been a while since you've opened up to me.” She says. “Ever since the hotel, it's like we've been more…distant.”
She knew his reasons for that. “Rosie, I-”
“Al.” Rosie interrupts. ”Please just talk to me?”
Alastor sighs. “My death…it troubles me to this day and- I didn't want to be alone tonight.” He admits.
“And you came to me?” She asks, sounding surprised.
“Who else would I go to?” Alastor asks.
Rosie smiles at him again, touching his face and moving it to face her. “I'll be honest, I forgot it was your death day. I'm sorry for forgetting, that was insensitive of me.” She says.
“I'm fine.” He says, turning away from her, trying really hard to make that true.
“Alastor, death is not something you can so easily overcome! It's traumatic and sometimes hard to process!” She says, holding his face with both of her hands. “Your friends would not think less of you if you just admitted it was bothering you.”
“What friends?” He asks, pushing her away.
“Am I not your friend?” Rosie asks.
Alastor doesn't answer…
Of course she is…
He thinks she is at least.
“Do you want to talk about it more?” She asks. “It might help you feel better.”
Alastor recalls the events…
“I was fulfilling my deal… my final soul was to be turned over…when it happened.” He explains.
“Go on.” Rosie tells him.
“I was burying the final body when I heard a rustling…it was so late in the night. I would never assume someone would be hunting so late but-”
The gunshot…
“I felt it…the bleeding, the coldness of the bullet. I…can't stop reliving it.” Alastor touches a spot on his head…where the bullet landed. ”No matter how hard I try…”
“Oh…sweetie.” Rosie says, taking his hand again.
His final thoughts were of his mother…the most selfish part of himself wanted her there…wanted her to hold him.
Alastor breathed in heavily and closed his eyes as he held her hand tightly. “I woke up here…I knew I would of course, but–it- it never-”
“Alastor, honey, breathe. It's okay.” Rosie says.
He nods and does so, and once he gets his breathing speed to normal, he continues:
“Would anyone have thought of me? My family? Did they bother with a memorial or the ritual? …Did they remember me fondly or…even miss me slightly?” He asks.
“Alastor, I'm sure they-”
“I could have died when Adam struck me…would anyone have missed me then?” Alastor asks, interrupting her.
“I would miss you.” Rosie says.
“Would you?” Alastor asks her.
“It's me, Alastor. You know how much I adore you.” Rosie says. “If anything happened to you…you'd be dearly missed. You make my life interesting, you comfort me… Alastor, I'd miss you.” She says again, emphasizing that sentiment.
Alastor couldn't help it, he started crying…
He hated crying, and hated showing any type of emotion, but he couldn't stop it once it started.
Rosie wraps her arms around him. “It's alright, it's okay…I'm here. You're not alone, I promise.”
Alastor wraps his arms around her. “Rosie-"
“I'm here.” She promises, cradling him in her arms. “I'm not going anywhere. You're okay, you're safe with me.”
“...I promise, you're safe.”
~~~The party:~~~
After the spider fiasco was put to rest, and at least two more rounds of the story game was complete, Carmilla, Husk and Lucifer decided it was time for them to wind down.
Carmilla read some fun Halloween children's books for the kids, and then everyone watched muppets haunted mansion.
By the end of the movie, all the kiddos were fast asleep.
Odette and Clara shared a blanket on the couch.
Vaggie and Charlie were snuggling together with Kiki on the carpet,
Cherri was on the chair,
Baxter on the table,
And Niffty was sleeping comfortably on Husk's head.
“We should go.” Carmilla says, about to wake her daughters and inform them that it was time to go.
“Carmilla, why don't you three stay the night, it's a hotel after all.” Lucifer says. “It's also the least I could do after you helped with everything.”
“We should at least get them to bed.” Carmilla says.
Husk gently removes Niffty from his head and picks up Baxter. “Everyone takes two.”
“Aye-Aye.” Lucifer says, about to pick up Vaggie. “What about Cherri?” He asks.
“I got her.” Husk tells him.
They took the littles to their rooms, one-by-one.
Carmilla took Odette and Clara to a two-bedroom room.
They shared one, and she took the other so she could keep an eye on them.
Husk took each of the kiddos that he was caring for up to their own rooms, and went downstairs to clean up after the party.
Lucifer sets Charlie on their bed, tucks her in nicely and kisses her forehead. “Goodnight apple. Sweet dreams.”
~~~Later, Angel: 2:00 AM~~~
Angel walked into a very empty hotel…
He missed everything.
He knew it already. He figured, what kind of kids' party lasts longer than ten at night?
He felt like crying…or throwing up.
Maybe both.
“Angel?” A soft voice says.
Angel looked, and there was Husk.
“Oh hey.” Angel says, wiping his eyes. “I see the party's over.”
Husk nods. “Everyone fell asleep by nine.”
Angel nods. “Yeah…I figured that would be the case.”
“But, Lucifer left this for you.” Husk says, handing him a halloween bucket full of goodies.
Angel takes it and nods. “Thanks…”
He walks upstairs and heads to his room, and Husk follows him.
“So…how was the party?” Angel asks, clearly not minding that Husk was following him, if anything he was glad to have some pleasant company.
“Well, it started off normal, then Niffty turned Lucifer's spider decoration into an animated monster that scared everyone.” Husk explains.
“What?! And I missed that!?” Angel asks, opening the door to his bedroom, even keeping it open for Husk until he walks in.
Fat nuggets ran to them excitedly, so Angel hugged him before offering the piglet to Husk.
“Well, yeah.” Husk says, taking Fat Nuggets so Angel could get cleaned up in the bathroom. “But it wasn't all that fun, I mean, the spider didn't even have fangs.”
Angel rinses the night off him and puts on his robe before walking back into the bedroom. He sighs and throws himself onto his bed. “This sucks! This fucking sucks! First I miss my birthday party, I missed that weird fucking scavenger hunt Charlie threw. I know I don't always act like it but I wanted to be here! I really wanted to be here… Just once!”
“I know.” Husk frowns. “Maybe Sinmas will-”
“I even had a costume.” Angel pouts as he interrupts Husk . “I'll never get to wear it.”
“What was your costume going to be?” Husk asks him..
Angel sits up and looks at him nervously. “Promise you won't make fun of me?”
Husk nods. “I promise. You can even put it on if you want to. At least someone will get to see it.”
Angel smiles. “Give me a few minutes to change.”
Husk waited a few minutes until Angel came out wearing a little Mermaid costume. It was a light blue dress with a navy blue corset, and he even put a blue bow in his hair.
“Wow.” Husk says.
“I don't really get to wear long dresses like this at work.” Angel says. “Not really the kind of thing people want to see.” Angel explains.
Husk doesn't agree…not in the slightest.
“Shame no one got to see it. You look…”
Angel raises an eyebrow.
“Nice.” Husk decides. “You look very nice.”
“Thanks, Husk.” Angel says.
Husk looked at Angel and then he had an idea: “You know, I'm supposed to put everything away downstairs. It's still up.”
Angel listens, but he seems more focused on twirling his dress around and admiring it in the mirror.
“If you want to, we can…”
Angel stops and looks at Husk.
“We can- maybe. Maybe we can have our own Halloween.” Husk finishes saying.
“Just the two of us?” Angel asks.
“If you want.” Husk says.
Angel smiles. “Seriously? We can do that!?”
Husk's ears drop down. “You really want to?” Husk asks.
Angel nods. “Fuck Yeah! …do you have a costume?”
Husk thinks about it…then he smiles. “Yeah, I'll get changed and meet you downstairs.”
Husk leaves, so Angel adjusts the bow on his head.
This was going to be fun!
~~~Alastor:~~~
Alastor ended up falling asleep in Rosie's arms. He woke up a few hours later to them both on the floor fast asleep, covered in the quilt Rosie generously made for him.
He uses his shadow magic to escape her grasp without waking her and decides he'd better head back to the hotel, he doesn't want a second conversation about this tomorrow morning after all.
He'd rather pretend none of this happened.
~~~Angel and Husk:~~~
Husk walked downstairs wearing a long sleeve, white t-shirt, jeans, and a red sash around his waist.
“You dressed like prince Eric for me?” Angel asks him.
“No- I- well, kinda. I didn't have a costume and the prince is easy to improvise.” Husk explains.
“Sure.” Angel teases. “So, what's the plan?”
“Okay, we have costumes, we also have leftover candy and popcorn balls.”
“Gross.” Angel says.
“I was thinking of a scary movie.” Husk says.
“Ooh okay! But no A24 movies, those freak me out…and nothing weird or bodily like that one movie Val made me watch- which I won't name! Just nothing too sexual.”
“So…scream alright?” Husk asks.
Angel smiles. “That one's fine."
~~~Lucifer and Alastor:~~~
Alastor arrived back at the hotel to find Husk and Angel snuggling, watching the television.
He's not fond of the activity, but he smiles at the two of them together. They really were cute together sometimes.
Lucifer appears next to Alastor, he too smiles at Husk and Angel. “When are they finally going to shape up and ask each other out?”
“Knowing them? Never.” Alastor looks Lucifer up and down. “They're far too caring to trap the other in such a way.”
“What?” Lucifer asks.
Alastor looks Lucifer up and down.“I see you've finally learned how to dress like an adult. Good job.” He pats Lucifer on the head mockingly.
“You too.” Lucifer says, gesturing to Alastor's outfit.
Alastor sighs and facepalms. “Rosie's idea, not mine.”
“Remind me to get tips from her on how to manage you.” Lucifer tells him.
Alastor scoffs. “Hardy-har. How was the party?” Alastor asks.
“It was fine.” Lucifer says. “Most of the kids aren't too traumatized…but I think the giant spider was too far.”
Alastor hums in amusement. “Almost makes me sorry I missed it.”
“I wish you were here to see it, It's not the same without you here.” Lucifer says. “We missed you.”
Alastor's ears shoot up and he looks at Lucifer.
They…what?
“How was the haunted house?” Lucifer asks him, as if what he just said was nothing.
“I can summarize it with: candy, squirrels, and a healthy dose of psychological trauma.” Alastor says, not bothering to look at Lucifer.
“The theme of the house was Willy Wonka and you traumatized the guests with killer attack squirrels?” Lucifer asks.
Alastor tilts his head at Lucifer.
Lucifer gestures to his outfit. “Lucky guess.”
“Oh, right.” Alastor didn't realize his costume was that recognizable.
“Next year, maybe we should do a haunted house.” Lucifer says.
“Sure, and you can bore everyone to death.” Alastor rolls his eyes playfully.
“Hey, I can be scary!” Lucifer says.
Alastor raises an eyebrow at him.
“You know what? Goodnight.” Lucifer says and stomps away.
Alastor chuckles, knowing Lucifer was not honestly mad, he was just fussy because he had no comeback.
~~~Angel and Husk:~~~
The second movie they watched was nightmare before Christmas, a movie Angel could watch and just relax. He's had enough stress today and didn't need anything too stressful.
“This movie is extremely over and underrated.” Angel says.
Husk nods in agreement.
“Like, it's great! But it also seems very anti-halloween-” Angel gasps. “Wait- what if I dressed like Sally next year? Or Emily from corpse bride!”
Husk chuckles. “That would be a fun costume.”
“And you could be Jack.”
“Uh- no. This was a one time thing because I felt sorry for you.” Husk says.
“Mhm sure.” Angel says, looking away from him. “Because Husk is way too macho to have fun.” He mocks.
“Shut up and watch your movie.” Husk tells him while pushing him away.
Angel chuckles and does so…but then he looks at Husk again. “Hey, Husk?”
“Yeah?” Husk asks.
“Thank you.” Angel says. “This is better than…any Halloween or any holiday I've ever had.”
Husk smiles. “Sure, kid…anytime.”
“Would it…be okay if I regressed for a little while? It was a stressful day, and I just want to relax.” Angel explains.
“Yeah, that's okay.” Husk tells him.
Angel smiles and hugs Husk closely.
Husk smiles and pets him gently until Angel regresses.
They watch the rest of the movie, then Angel yawns.
“Alright, bed time, kiddo.” Husk tells him.
“No!” Angel whines. “No bed! Hawoween!”
“Halloween is over, kiddo. It's bedtime.” Husk tells him.
Husk looks over Angel who's just pouting and crossing his arms.
“Come on, no pouting, sweetheart.” Husk tells him. “You need sleep, and you know it. Can I pick you up?”
Angel didn't argue, because he wanted to be picked up, he raised his hands and allowed Husk to lift him into his arms.
Angel snuggled up closely to Husk as he walked upstairs. He feels so safe, knowing no one can hurt him as long as Husk was there.
When Husk makes it to Angel's room, he sets him down gently on the bed. “Alright, let's get you into some pajamas.”
“No! I wan to be awial!” Angel complains, close to tears it sounded like.
“What if we compromise? You can wear your Ariel pajamas.”
Angel sniffs and nods. “Otay.”
“Thank you, Angel.” Husk praised. “I'm really glad we could work that out together.”
Husk helped Angel change into his Ariel Mermaid pajamas and he tucks Angel into bed.
“Goodnight, sweetheart. I'll see you in the morning.” Husk tells him, petting his hair.
Though, he knew Angel fairly well by now, he knew he wouldn't go to sleep that quickly
“Kitty?” Angel asks, expectedly.
“Yes, Angel?” Husk asks.
“Is da mobster under my bed?” Angel asks.
“A monster or a mobster?” Husk asks, amused and clarifying.
It's honestly too late for this, but Husk couldn't resist it, Angel was too adorable.
Angel thinks. “Uhm yea. Wiw you check?”
Husk takes a deep breath, then does so, getting on his hands and knees to look under the bed. “No monsters or mobsters. You're safe.”
Angel whines, not too sure. “Stay wif me, Kitty?” Angel asks. “Keeps da mobsters away?”
Husk thought about it…
He was exhausted, truth be told, and he had spent most of the day worried about Angel so...
He crawled into bed with Angel and gently petted him until he fell asleep. “Sweet dreams, malen'kiy pauk.”
He needed to be close to his little one just as much as his little one needed Husk to be close.

Vaggie being so smol she can only crawl but then her sisters and/or mama encourage her try and stand up and she actually manages to take a few clumsy steps before falling down so her family cheers and tell her how big and strong she is?
I hope it is okay, But I'm going to do a small minific/headcanon scene thing. I've just got a whole lot of Mami Carmilla stuff and trying to space the long ones out to save my energy
Vaggie was very small one day, barely being able to do things by herself. She mainly was crawling the whole time but her sibbies tried to get her to walk. Carmilla even got in on it and started recording as Vaggie tried standing up. She kneeled down and opened her arms, trying to get Vaggie to walk into them.
"You can do it, Mija!" The overlord encouraged her. Odette and Clara were watching and cheering from the sides.
Vaggie took a few one very wiggling and unbalanced step. She squeaked, a little scared, but still tried. She took another one, and then one more. Everyone was so happy and excited. However, as she tried to take one more step, she fell forward into her Mami's arms. She giggles a little.
"You're so strong, sis!" Clara told her, patting her back. Vaggie gave her a toothy smile as everyone else started congratulating her.
Mama Carmilla headcanons?
Okay!
Since I have lots of fics and stuff about her with Vaggie, why not do headcanons with a little you!
~Your Caregiver~
Carmilla is very protective of you. If something seems too dangerous in her eyes, she won't let you do it.
She is an amazing cook but unfortunately isn't as good as Lucifer when it comes to sweets. So she usually makes you some healthy but fun snacks such as Ants on a Log, fun shaped sandwhiches, and other stuff.
If you're too young to eat solids, she'll happily prepare you a little protein shake for your baba. She knows that whole milk alone isn't enough nutrients for you which is why she will make shakes with things like flaxseed and protein powder.
If you're a little energetic, she'll teach you ballet or martial arts, depending on what you wanna do.
she's probably a bit strict but does it out of love and care.
If you are feeling any kind of negative emotion, she'll scoop you up in her big arms and hands and hold you. You'll feel like such a small baby compared to her.
She'll definitely call you sweet pet names in spanish and english.
she's great with dealing with messy situations. like if you get sick, she doesn't care about the germs, she cares if you're feeling alright. if you have an accident, she'll clean it up and comfort you. if you spill a drink or food, she'll pick it up and give you a kiss on you're forehead.
She's not even phased when it comes to diaper changes for those who need them. whether it's number 1 or 2, she doesn't judge. some littles are incontinent and shouldn't be judged for their body not cooperating. she doesn't even find it a bit gross since she's a single mom who had to change all of her daughters diapers when they were babies.
If you're clothes get a hole in them, or your stuffy rips, she'll sew it up for you!
You cannot leave her sight for even five minutes. she lives right next to her warehouse where theres tons weapons that can be lethal and deadly. she cannot risk losing you to a weapon mishap.
She will beat up anyone who makes fun of or sexualizes your regression. Out of sight, of course.
Zestial going to Carmilla's for lunch and interacting with lil Vaggie?
Mhm! Finished!
Zestial waited outside of the Carmine warehouse. He had a bottle of Carmilla’s favorite wine and a box of cookies for the girl’s. When they had planned this get-together lunch, Carmilla had explained that she had acquired another kid and to not worry if there's someone new in the house.
He knocked on the big metal doors and waited for someone to answer. Clara opened the door and immediately gave him a hug
“Uncle Zestial!” She beamed.
“Greetings, Clara,” He petted her head.
“Lunch is almost ready, come in,” She led him inside and up the elevator into the penthouse.
Clara opened the door to the penthouse once they got up there. Zestial was shocked to find all these baby toys on the ground of the living room. Carmilla was cleaning them up and putting them away.
“Zestial! Glad you could make it!” She stopped what she was doing to give him a hug.
“Where shall I put thy presents?” he asked, gesturing to the cookies and the wine.
“Oh, Zest, you shouldn’t have,” Carmilla said, very flattered.
“It was my pleasure,” He told her. She took the gifts and set them on the counter.
“Lunch is almost ready, we’re having empanadas,” She said, checking the oven.
“Sounds very appetizing,” He answers truthfully. Suddenly, a crying noise comes from a baby monitor, sitting on the kitchen counter.
“That must be Vaggie. Odette, watch the oven while i get your sister ready,” she tells her daughter, who was sitting on the couch, going through some paperwork. She got up to go watch the oven and make sure nothing burned.
Carmilla walked up the stairs and entered Vaggie’s nursery. Vaggie was trying to get out of her crib, crying for her mama.
“Mama!!” She yelled, making grabby hands for her when she entered the room.
“I’m here, Baby,” Carmilla lifted her up and bounced her by her hip for a little bit, trying to calm her down. Vaggie had abandonment issues and would usually have a meltdown is she awoke and Carmilla wasn't there. She was able to stop crying within a few minutes.
“Uncle Zestial is here for lunch, we need to get you changed,” She said, laying her down on the changing table.
Luckily, Vaggie didn’t make much of a fuss while getting changed into white skirt-alls with a lavender shirt underneath. She was going to put on some booties but stuck with socks instead. She put some accessories in her hair before leading her downstairs.
Zestial was a bit confused when he saw an 18 year old girl, holding Carmilla’s hand while walking down the stairs. He didn’t quite understand why she was dressed in little kid’s clothes and holding a teddy bear.
“Carmilla, why is thou daughter dressed like that?” He asked.
“Oh, I forgot to mention, Vaggie is a little, meaning she acts like a younger kid to cope or just relax. Poor baby had a nightmare this morning and hasn’t aged up since,” Carmilla explained. Zestial sort of understood. He squatted down to meet her eyes.
“Greetings, little one, I am thy uncle Zestial,” he said
“Zebaba!” She babbled, trying to say his name. He found it absolutely adorable.
Vaggie bapped his face, finding his spider-like body very interesting and cool. He picked her up and bounced her on his hip. Her giggle, baby laugh was so cute and contagious that he found himself chuckling.
“Alright you guys, Lunch is ready!” Carmilla announced from the kitchen.
Zestial carried Vaggie to the dining room. Odette and Clara were there, setting the table while Carmilla brought out the empanada’s salad and some spanish rice.
“You can just sit her in the highchair,” The arm’s dealer told him. There was an adult sized highchair, which wasn’t all that high, only a little bit taller than their normal chairs. The base chair was white with the tray being a light, pastel green. He used to babysit when Odette and Clara were younger, so he knew how to place and buckle someone into a highchair.
The rest of the Carmine family sat down and started eating. Vaggie had a different lunch than the rest, since Carmilla didn’t want to have to bathe Vaggie after they ate. She had some strawberry milk in her bottle and applesauce in a bowl.
“How did thou acquire Vaggie?” Zestial started up a conversation. As Carmilla fed her little, she explained the story of how she found Vaggie and soon adopted her. He found it quite interesting.
At some point, Vaggie decided she wanted to chip into the talk. However, her babbles were incoherent and couldn’t be understood. But Zestial didn’t want to make it seem like they were ignoring her.
“Really? That is terrific!” He would respond when she would pause, waiting for a response. He nodded and pretended to understand exactly what she was saying. She got really happy and excited that someone new was listening to her rant.
Lunch was very fun, Zestial got to catch up with the Carmine family and got to interact with the newest (and the cutest. His words, not mine) daughter of Carmilla. All in all, Lunch was a success.
Evaluation
Carmilla is worried that Vaggie is a permaregressor so she gets her evaluated by a therapist!
