Another friday, another one piece chapter -- let's just get into it because there was a lot going on in this chapter.

First of all, title is: Kid and Law vs. Big Mom (finally!!)

Okay so...

1.

We see that Raizo is still going at it, they're both holding their jutsu and neither are backing down, even though Raizo is literally on fire currently. I know there's a lot of jokes and memes centered around this fight, but it just goes to show how much loyalty the scabbards hold for Raizo to be on literal fire and still going

We didn't get anything more than this though, Oda really is sprinkling some Raizo moments here and there throughout without actually giving us anything 💀

Let's give some love to Jinbe who is out here helping out and being really damned cool, holding up a whole ass roof/floor from collapsing

AND THEN!!

WE GET TO THIS WEIRD ASS SHIT

The Grim Reaper???????? what are you doing here????? who the hell????? He heard Zoro call himself the King of Hell and couldn't let it slip

Meanwhile Chopper is extremely worried about Zoro and the effects the drug/healing could have on his body (rightfully so) because he literally cannot move, thankfully we've got Franky currently on his way looking for Zoro (and he seems to be close, too)

We've also (again, so many different plot points) got Izo who just stumbled upon the CP0

"Let's just pretend we didn't see each other" and "We've currently got our eyes on someone else" is what CP0 tell Izo, not planning on fighting him at all - which Izo won't have

(ignore how good he looks, if you can) anyways... how many people have I guessed will fight CP0 by now? Lmao... Seems like Izo will go up against them, but I still want Brook and Robin to do so too! Brook, mostly, because I really want to see a fight from him and I think it'd be really cool

The fire is, of course, still spreading because of Kanjuro's creation and, I wasn't going to have this in my post because it wasn't that interesting to me (Yamato chasing the fire and cutting it/attempting to) but then, then

this happens

Yamato sees a hand come out of the fire, and it's clearly saying Orochi-sama so chances are Kanjuro is still alive in that thing somehow... his spirit or whatever...

6.

And last but not least, after so many things happen we finally get to what the chapter is all about - Big Mom versus Kid and Law

who are currently on the floor bleeding out

"Your underlings are begging now, you two really hit rock bottom"

She continues on to say that she never heard Kaido let out his "victory cry" - don't tell me that puny strawhat is still holding on alone. (Jokes on her he's not "holding on" he's literally beating Kaido's ass but whatever)

She's planning on going up to the roof, but then Kroom happens again

and after Law attacks Big Mom with Kroom, Kid also gets up since law has to act first of course and prepares an attack

jokes aside, I loved Kid's speech here at the end

"It's weird, I feel like I have a new reason to keep fighting [...] If you give it long enough, even mountains can be worn down by Rain"

Once again, proving the power that Luffy holds. Once he fights, you have no choice but to simply believe him.

So a lot, a lot, of different plot points to look forward to... Raizo's fight coming to an end, Grim Reaper appearing, Izo vs. CP0, Kanjuro possibly being alive (this is less a point to look forward to and more,,, yeah), and Big Mom vs. Kid and Law to come to an end...

along with everything else like Luffy's fight (of course) and Zunesha

so much and yet not enough, so much and yet perfectly combined-

Law I’m also very concerned for you given that using your Awakened ability is inherently draining and you can barely stand right now

I guess in Law’s defense he was actively trying to rile Kid up because he knows that’s a pretty surefire way to get him completely focused on the battle and it does end up working here, though I think with these two especially there’s more direct competition between them than Law would ever have with Luffy.

You know, considering that the rest of the Heart Pirates had no idea how to deal with an injured Luffy, I’m not entirely sure I’d trust their ‘medical team.’
