paladin but make him slutty
7 for sammieboy and estellastar
Most women throughout Thedas fantasized about being sweptoff their dainty feet by some charming noble on their white horse or dashingrouge with a silver tongue. They’d want to be swayed by romantic poetry fromthe Antivan tongue. Sweet gestures coming from the heart. Expensive gifts thatspeaks a value of one’s feelings to another. Amorous conversations and promiseswritten down on letters shaped as paper birds. But what Samson came to learn isthat Estella was not like those women who’d be gobbling down those idealisticfairytales like a slice of some fancy Orlesian chocolate cake.
The apostate’s idea of romance was simple yet unorthodox. Estelladidn’t care if he didn’t speak of flowery words that’d make her swoon. She neverawaited for poetry, gifts, or love letters from him because her heart—so pure,so good—did not seek for such grand things.
What it ached for was something that Samson was more than eagerto oblige her with during each time she visited his cell. She’d greet him witha beautiful curve on her lips, a loving smile dedicated to him and only him.Her body would lean against the cell bars, grasping them in her delicate hands. His mouth would twitch, but never fully grin or smile, as he walks to her.Their eyes would lock for a moment or two before he inclined forward, brushinghis lips across her lips. Then he’d dispose of any distance between their lips, tangling a quivering hand in her dark hair. He does not kiss her kindly, butwith attentiveness. Hunger. Passion. Because that is how he feels for her, eventhough he does not voice his fondness for her often.
But, fortunately for Samson, a kiss speaks a thousand words to hisEstella.

“Worth.” Cole whispered. “Worth. Not of riches, power,or fame. No.” He paused as Estella blinked three times at the mysterious assassin, then went back to sewing up the hole in his sleeve. She instantly assumed thathe was reading someone’s pain around the keep as usual. That was Cole for her, alwayswanted to help people heal their pain. “Worth, measured by her smiles, her words, her company, he did not have. He wished, prayed that such kindness she gave him, he to be worthy of someday. Painthrobbing down to the bones, shivers to his core. He feels lost, all is lost, until a shining radiant star blesses him with her lips. A beacon of hope.”
“Cole…who’s pain is this?” Estella asked, pressing her lips together, her curiosity getting the best of her once again. She shifted her weight unnervingly against the garden bench when he responded with only a shy smile. She didn’t smile back. “Cole?”
“Estella?” A gruff voice called out her name. She looked up and her heart lurched. Right there at the entrance of Skyhold’s garden was the one person she wasn’t expecting to ever see.
Samson.
She wet her mouth and let go of Cole’s sleeve with the needle still stuck in the fabric of his shirt. “How…do…why…what are you doing here?” She finally managed to spat some kind of question out, standing up on her feet, not sure of what to make his sudden presence. Her emotions were at a fine line between confusion and concern. It’s been days since she last visited him and kissed him for the first time. Did he break out of his cell to just to see her? A tingling sensation on her lips appeared as she thought of the possibility.
His green eyes, circled with the color red, bored at her. They were filled with such desperation. Samson took a step forward, opening his mouth. “I—”
“He misses you.” Cole cut him off, studying the needle in his sleeve. “Wonders why you have stopped visiting him after the kiss you shared. Sol told him to do something about it. Decided to see why. Wasn’t expecting to find you here though. Wanted to bring you flowers first.”
Estella’s face heated up with color, a light pink blush breaking out on her cheeks and nose. “Oh? That’s why.” She rubbed her hands together. Samson uncomfortably massaged the back of his neck and glared at Cole.
“She isn’t upset with you, by the way. She happens to fancy you a lot.” Cole added, making Estella blush even more.
“Um, Cole, I’m done with your sleeve now. You can go. Now. Right now. Please.” Estella said as fast as she could, pulling the sewing needle out of his sleeve and setting it on the bench. Her face looked awfully flushed as Cole nodded his head and left the two of them alone. There was a long unsettling silence between them before either one of them had the nerve to speak again.
“…So you fancy me?” Samson furrowed his brows, smirking quite smugly.
“I…um…you see…yes.” Estella twirled a strand of her dark hair between her fingers. “Maybe even more than just ‘fancy’. I am unsure of that. But I thought I made it clear when I…when I kissed you.” She pulled on her hair, coyly glancing back and forth to his eyes and her feet.
“Oh, you certainly made it clear with that, yeah.” He crossed his arms, chuckling with amusement in his voice. Estella puckered her lips into a displeased pout. He was teasing, wasn’t he? She knew she was a tad overeager when she kissed him but he didn’t have to tease her about it.
“I wanted to kiss you longer than I wish to admit. I…I happened to rather enjoy kissing you. A lot. Why are you really here, Samson?” She pressed her hands behind her back and walked over to the former templar until she stood in front of him. There were no bars to separate the distance between each other. She liked that there weren’t any to. “And how did you escape your cell? Wouldn’t Cullen be upset finding you out of your jail?”
“Always asking pointless questions,” He cheekily grinned, then twisted his lips into a scowl. “That frustrating mage, what was her name again, Sol? She let me out. Said that you were looking upset for a while now. Was it my fault? Ya have stop coming to see me.” His hands were trembling at his sides, aching underneath his skin.
“I was…I had a lot on my mind these past couple of days.”
“Bullshit,”
“I had,” Estella inhaled sharply. “I have been thinking of little because you have taken over my thoughts and these feelings I have for you they scare me.” She slipped her hands into his. The trembling of his hands eased down a little in her touch, but still shook hard. “I have never felt anything like this before with anyone before. It scares me.” She kept her eyes on their intertwined hands.
“Ah,” was all he could say. He sounded rather disappointed about her reply.
She gazed up to him and leaned in to peck his scruffy cheek. “But I still wish to be with you.”
“Be with me?” scoffed Samson, jerking his hands away from her. “Bad skin? Red eyes? Receding hairline? Is a pathetic excuse of a man is what you really want to be with?” He lashed out, staring at her as if he is waiting for her to change her mind. But did he really want her to?
“No,” She said in a hushed voice. “I want to be with you, Samson. The respectable man I know you are and can be. But I do not wish to be with you if you do not feel the same.”
“Estella,” He uttered her name, looking at her confused. “I-I care for you a great deal but I ain’t no charming young lad that is going to sweep you off your feet and write poetry for ya. You deserve someone more worthy of your time.”
“Charming? Sweeping me off my feet? Poetry? I never asked for such things. They sound like things from a fairytale.” Estella beamed a large smile. “I never asked for much, really. But all I am asking for, right now, is you. I want you, Samson.”
“Blighted woman,” He stroked her unscratched cheek with his knuckles, unsteadily drawing in air in his lungs. She smiled harder and leaned against his hand. Before Samson could even give her a chance to respond, he brushed his lips tenderly on her lips, giving her a long, slow kiss. A kiss that he was aching to give her for a while now.
Bonus Ending:
Estella’s hands gripped on his shirt firmly, tugging him closer to deepen the kiss, wanting more. When they tore away from their fevered kiss, Samson chuckled as Estella continued to shower him with affections by pecking her lips over and over, wanting to kiss him more. “I need air, woman. Air! Have you heard of it?” He guffawed.
“Oh, hush. You kissed me first and I am smothering you with kisses before someone other than Cole and Sol notice that you are missing from your cell. And by someone, I mean Cullen. Besides, I highly doubt we are going to get moments like this where you are out and about like this.” She giggled, kissing his nose.
“No complaining with that.” He leered. “Though I am hoping for more moments like this where we’re alone. And somewhere more private.”
“Samson!”
