Stancy Week Day 3: Color
I have returned to writing (that isn’t for final essays and portfolios!) Have a short drabble about Trials of Rowmance! It’s basically just me flexing a little of my recently acquired knowledge about the history of ice cream
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tsunotaro, I’m curious, what’s the strangest ice cream flavor you’ve had?”Yuu asked as they held their literal ice cream, or rather gelato, sandwich.
“Hmmm… I believe Lilia attempted to make ice cream with some small creature once. That would probably be the strangest and most disagreeable iced treat I’ve ever had.”
Yuu winced,”Yeah, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen meat in an ice cream. I think the strangest I’ve had is parmesan cheese ice cream.”
Malleus blinked,”Cheese flavored ice cream? How curious, what did it taste like?”
“…like parmesan cheese. It was actually pretty good, and it’d probably be really good on a bun.”
“It is fascinating to see an iced treat served with bread once again.”
“Again? Did people do this in the past?”
“Indeed they did, though it wasn’t an entire bun with ice cream in between. Rather it was just a bread crumb topping, specifically dry rye bread crumbs. I’ve never had it myself of course, but I vaguely remember Lilia telling me about it at some point when I was very young.”
Yuu entirely finished their gelato sandwich as Malleus eagerly explained the entire history of iced treats from ancient history to his idea of the modern day, about a century ago. Fruit wasn’t generally their flavor of choice, but the watermelon flavor did go well with the saltiness of the bread bun.
“Oh dear…, I was so engrossed in deep conversation with you that my gelato has melted... Should I follow Grim's example and finish it in one bite?"Malleus noted, red gelato dripping onto his gloved hand.
Yuu snorted,”Can’t you just refreeze it?”
Malleus blinked,”Oh, right. That would be quite simple.”
Unfortunately, Malleus and Yuu forgot that this would not reform the patty and Malleus ended up having to lick the frozen gelato off of his hand. At least, Yuu got a show out of it. That forked tongue was absolutely sinful.
Hello :) I'm glad you had a good weekend <3 If you have the chance, for that Dragon Age characters sketches request, I'd love to see Davrin in your style *_*
"KEEP MY WIFE'S NAME OUT UR FUCKIN' MOUTH!" - sandrone, if she was allowed to swear
as much as the young justice cartoon is of objectively good quality (at least in s1 and s2, didn’t watch the rest), i will always be bitter that they completely tossed aside the roles of cassie, bart and tim, treated them like side characters IN THE TEAM THEY FOUNDED, and separated them from kon
if only we could get a real show or movie about the actual young justice but nooooo dc hates them
Heard it was Xion Day!!?!?!!!????!
