Protect your energy.

Protect your peace.

Strive for joy, because happiness is fleeting.

Learn yourself.

Forgive yourself... over, and over, and over.

Forgive others if they’re actions are still damaging you.

Surround yourself with things that feel good.

Pamper yourself.

Treat yourself... even if it’s a small overpriced coffee.

Value yourself.

Respect your time.

Focus on healing.

Make your health a priority.

Try new things.

Write stuff down....write it out.

Make plans and try to keep them.

Hold yourself accountable.

Put on lotion.

Do your hair.

Find/Make some affirmations and say them to yourself daily.

Reach out to old friends.

Listen to music that makes you dance.

Sing your heart out.

Clean your room.

Drink some water.

Take 10 deep breaths a day.

Just start a new cycle. You CAN heal. You CAN find your happiness again. You CAN get your joy back. You CAN learn to love yourself even if you never have before. You CAN let go. You CAN move on. You CAN change your life.

You can get back to you. I promise. I’ve done it.

Depression is real, and he’s a hating ass hoe. But you can get better.... & it can stick this time.
