Saw someone on Reddit claiming that Takumi's mind 'gave up first' in the endurance match but imo it's just as possible that Eito broke first and Takumi followed, or it happened at the same time, the main takeaway being 'Eito was in no condition to assume control' and not 'Takumi came through the ordeal with his sanity intact' because-

^ ...well, that. It was heavily implied that it could lead to this outcome if Takumi kept it up- less 'controlled' and more 'permanently damaged'- also the fact he's perceiving everyone as themselves

Luckily, after having done this five shifts a week for the past few years, the buzzing of the needle is familiar enough that he doesn’t really have to think about it, and thus does not run the risk of inking his awful, self-destructive thoughts onto some poor teenager. He likes this- likes the monotony, the quiet, the designs slowly emerging beneath his steady hand. Mike can’t take this from him, not yet. This job, this life, has always been separate from him.

Ch05:  Chabusui

Among my mother’s cooking, chabusui is probably one of her best dishes.

While everyone in my family are content with only 1 bowl, I’ve always needed 2 bowlfuls since I was young.

Once, I was chatting with some underclassmen and the topic turned to our favorite home cooking.

Mirio:  “My favorite? …definitely chabusui” Everyone else:  “??? (What is that…)???”

EH?  How on earth does no one know about chabusui?  I wonder if there’s anyone among my dear readers who know what I’m talking about.

It’s something like this:

Best had during spring…!! Has plenty of fresh bamboo shoots and pork. The thick broth can be either bonito or soy. It’s something like that.

And somehow no one knows about it.  It’s so delicious I can’t believe it… 

But don’t worry about it, you won’t get any hits for “chabusui” online either. 

It’s a Shizuoka only delicacy, I guess.

Still, I can’t believe you can’t find everything on the internet these days.  How is that possible…

I guess there’s still some mysteries left in the modern world

Anyways, chabusui is the best soup ever so you should try it.
