Juvia’s belief of love and relationships probably boil down to the stereotype of ‘caring, protecting, and sheltering each other’, in the usual ‘boys have to protect girls’ way, and she’s never been told otherwise. Her constant rain is a result of inherently stronger magic power, a loneliness in her heart, and as her magic goes, a way to set up a terrain and constantly be in battle mode. And due to that, she’s probably been stronger or equal to everyone before this.

To her being loved means to be vulnerable.

Her love language is safety and protection.
