rating childe ships bc i feel bored and controversial. i wanna start dramma.
zhongchi - 6/10 i like zhongchi in the actual cannon of genshin, they have a pretty interesting dynamic with the whole like. Childe trusting them and then Zhongli like- using him just like everyone else. I just haaaaaaaate what the fandom has done with it. Like ik yall like rich people yaoi but they are not a healthy ship ok!! Also please stop racebending Childe guys it's weird.
capitaru - 9/10 looooove them so much i've been brainrotting over this ship for the past like. Year or so ughhhhh. Ik learning Capitano's lore turned off all the monster fuckers that were keeping the tag alive on ao3 but honestly it just made me like the ship more ughhhh. The capitaru cannibalism fic is probably my best work ngl. They're so doomed like for what.
chitraveler - 4/10 it's good only when onesided and the traveler is way worse to childe than the other way around. (He would not fucking s/a lumine after sparring with her wtf are yall on about). straightimpactors are sooooo mid about writing them like uhm. Aether is literally real guys. And Childe is bi coded. He also isn't a dominant sugar daddy or wtv.
arlechi - 10/10 my otp!!! also one of the few Childe ships I don't see as terribly one-sided. I've uh. Yapped a lot about them in the past. But basically they're codependent and queerplatonic and Arlecchino is trying and failing to convince Childe to be suspicious of the Tsaritsa and they're terrible for eachother and it's great.
chaeya - 2/10 not a big "these characters have never met and do not know of eachothers existence" ship fan. i sorta get the appeal ig?? If you like Kaeya that is. I don't like him. Through no fault of his he's an interesting character I just had really weird delusions about him in 2023. So uh. Putting him with my beloved Tartaglia weirds me out.
chiluc - 1/10 same problem with chaeya. Also dogtaglia (childe fictive, hella source attached he sucked) had source memories of diluc calling him a slur so i don't like it idk. I just don't like diluc in general but I could make a whole entire other post about that. I don't like enemies to lovers either. (Enemies to enemies that fuck and are lowkey codependent fan idk)
chiscara - 1/10 mostly just bc i don't like scaramouche and hate daddy childe and that's like. All people write about them. Dislike them so much i don't really. Have stuff to say.
white knight (childe x the tsaritsa) - 10/10 ohhhhh they're so terrible.... mentally unstable lacky x their evil boss who treats them like shit my belovedddd..... (forever proud of myself for coining their ship name) lovee god x worshipper too. i should post my silly like. Drabbles i wrote for them last year uhm i should also write for them more. (Dogboys are inexplicably drawn to supervillians out of a desire to be their goon and recieve evil pets. I speake from experience.)
neuvichi - 4/10 i don't hate it but i also don't get it idk. it's like. Painfully mid.
wriochi - 4/10 same as neuvichi but i get it a little more??? still don't think Childe would be interested in fighting Wriothesley like some people think he would be bc Wrio is just a normal human with about the same ammount of strength and training as like. Childe's subordinates in the Fatui and we know he isn't really interested in fighting them but like. It's ok. It's alright idk
chiskirk- 9/10 they sicken me. Stop doing that generational trauma cycle of abuse thing I'm gonna sob and tear my eyeballs out.
This is just my opinion obv you can still like ones I don't like idc. Just know I'm judging. Silently.
