How to make Chaffles:
I originally learned about Chaffles on TikTok. They’re a recipe that is part of a Keto diet (no carbs). By no means am I on a Keto diet but I am gluten intolerant! When I saw these Chaffles I thought they’d be great for me! I even bough a waffle iron just to make them! Well, needless to say I was not disappointed! They’re so easy to make and you can add any ingredients you like! Some even use the Chaffles as “bread” for sandwiches.
Ingredients (for 1 Chaffle): - 1 egg - 1 slice of sandwich meat (I used ham) - 1/4 cup of grated or cubed cheese (I used Swiss. - Fresh parsley - 1 tbsp of water Method: In a bowl, beat the egg and water together. Combine all the ingredients and mix well. Preheat the waffle iron. Add the mixture to the waffle iron and cook for 2 minutes. Enjoy!
Note: Many recipes call for cooking spray on the waffle iron before adding your ingredients. My waffle iron doesn’t need cooking spray as it’s non-stick.
