Chaghan was disgraced from his home, not wanted, his anchor bond died, since the sorqan sira was dead there had 2 be chaos, and he marched back up north on the back of that fucking horse and unified a HUNDREDDDD AND FIFTY TRIBES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A CENTURY...not just that but hes AWARE that he will die from being too far in the spirit world and is completely calm ab it...not like jiang who kept trying to escape his old self and not like any other shaman in the whole series....

conclusion is that chaghan is the most powerful shaman and my goat . and also Qara's name means black and Chaghan's horse is black. which could mean nothing but its incredibly cute
