- English is not my first language, but I am very very proficient, I just make some spelling and grammar mistakes occasionally.
- I don’t write smut, I am both a minor and orthodox, writing such would make me highly uncomfortable.
- Because of reasons mentioned above, I also don’t curse heavily.

- I will have a tagging system, but I won’t add it to this post, you’ll just notice it.

- There is now 15 posted chapters! This fic will be 17 chapters then I move into part 1.5! Probably over halfway through chapter sixteen.
- This is my current priority fic.

- I finally updated this! It is now at 15 chapters!
- I will refer to this fic as the ‘everybody scream’ fic as that’s the song this title comes from.
- I am always so unmotivated to work on this because I am not a fan of my writing in it, but I also don’t want to abandon it, soooo it will probably take me a while to finish.
- Fair warning the first chapter is not that good (it will probably be rewritten soon)…it gets better though.

- On ao3 it is unmarked about how many chapters is will but I am seriously hoping it will be ten or less, because I have told myself I can’t start any new ones until after I finish this and…i have some ideas I want to get cracking on.
- ps, I would watch a slime tutorial of hadestown before reading this fic.

Took a break from writing my post canon nezha mpreg fic to draw this. I haven't drawn anything in months but this fuckass couple are giving me brain worms.
Well, I did it. I uploaded the first chapter of my new rinezha fic, and it’s some of my favorite writing I’ve ever done! So if the story sounds interesting, you could check it out I guess.

Which isn’t my best, but I also wrote a good majority of this when sick, so I think I can have some grace.
Also shoutout to @andthemoonsingswisely, I was thinking about you when writing the rinvenka scene because of how you have made think about their relationship.
Chapter five is now launched! And it might be my favorite over four (mostly because it’s better written). Anyway, so thankful those who read it, read it!

Now P.S: I feel like this certainly isn’t my best work, and I was a little rushed when writing it as soon I won’t have as much time to write as I have so I wanted to gave you all something.
P.P.S: I’m sorry you didn’t get your normal little snippets, I didn’t intend to publish this so soon, but hey that’s fun right? You get to go in blind.

And instead of being close to 8000 words, it is instead over 8000 words so if you like long fics, I guess this for you! Also I felt like a little “tired” while writing this chapter so while I am far from abandoning this fic or anything I’m going to publish my altan one shot and try and update another chapter of my hunger games au just for a nice change of pace.
(Hate when it doesn’t automatically make link work and I have to do it myself, agh).
Anywayss, I hope yall really enjoy this chapter it took a lot out of me, oof. Since I didn’t post my standard snippets I will let you know that this chapter is mainly told from Nezha’s pov and about essential dragon republic politics I have to establish.
It finally happened guys…I posted chapter 12! It only took a month, both major and minor crash outs and a ao3 authors curse, but it is done:

I hope you all enjoy this chapter and aren’t disappointed and such because this one includes no rinezha pov and instead written through mainly Kitay and Venka’s pov’s in the hall outside the room where Rin labour. A little more detail in my authors note, but this is happening at the same time as 12, so no updates about rinezha baby, sorry.
Hehe, you know how my last chapter was like over 10k words, well yeah this is one is over 12k. And like I don’t wish to brag but I think it is my best yet, so I really hope you enjoy. Though this is our second to last chapter of this fic, soooo.

i hate when people point out how Rin is mischaracterized as a badass feminist female anger woman (which i agree with), but then continue to say instead she is [insert worst thing a being can be]. like no way you just read a book that focused on dehumanization so much, yet you still do it to the main character.😭
(like wdym Rin is anti-feminist bc she destroyed her uterus??? and that she actually plays into hating women because she’s viewing womanhood as naturally weak??? r u deadass)
what i mean is that people are so eager to put characters like Rin in a box: “badass teenage feminist” or “evil malicious cruel inhuman dictator tyrant”
Rin is such a layered character that’s full of multiple critiques of humanity. All in a “this is what should happen”, “this is what can happen” and “this is what happens” way. So i think it’s weird to try to have one set categorization of her. I could go a little more into this but i hope my point got to u
(also i think people trying to categorize her so hard is playing into how woman characters are perceived compared to male characters are. (i can make a different post elaborating on this one))
If we’re talking from a purely literary perspective, however, Rin is fundamentally a feminist character because she exists in the canon of western literature and her role in the narrative puts her at odds with the role of women in traditional western literature.
She’s not feminist because she’s “badass”, she’s feminist because she challenges the reader’s perception of a fantasy hero as well as the traditional western ideal of what a woman should be. She’s feminist because, as OP mentioned, her very existence and role in the narrative is controversial enough to face unnecessary, inaccurate labeling that male characters are not typically put through, highlighting the misogyny that’s so deep-rooted within our society that readers ignorantly project their own perceptions of womanhood and its associated labels onto her.
What especially makes Rin feminist and political, however, is the fact that, as OP once again points out, her narrative is one centered on dehumanization, particularly in regards to the intersection between race, class, and gender. The fandom perception of her forces us to confront the blind spots that we may have in regards to how we account for a female character’s essence (cheap labels) versus how we would account for a male character’s essence.

Okay, so I need the help of some of my mutuals/followers, I am in a bit of a pickle.
As you probably all know, my most popular and biggest fanfic is my rinezha baby fic: and the most recent chapter published reveals the name for the baby which is “Keahilani,” as suggested to me by a commenter.
Howeverrr, another rinezha baby fic (there are very few) has the name of the child being Keahi. And their fanfic was published before mine, so now I am worried that I am going to appear like I plagiarize someone or that I copying someone.
WHICH TOTALLY DID NOT HAPPEN. The name was genuinely suggested to me by a commenter and I thought it was to beautiful to pass up so I ended up going with it, WITHOUT the other fic in mind and I don’t know what to do.
Should I not address it and handle an accusation if it comes? Should I address in a comment to the other author? Should I address it in an author’s note for my own fic? I’m just a little stuck and unaware of what to do, so a little help with be appreciated. Should I change the name in my fic to accommodate? I’m at a complete loss. Like I am also wondering if I did something wrong in the first place.

Every single fic update there is an author trying frantically to find the right balance between a nonchalant aside of "leave a comment if you enjoyed =)" and clinging desperately to the coat tails of a random stranger, dragging along behind them on the street wailing "Please, please! I have to know what you thought! I'm desperate to talk to people about this! Ask me about the alliterative repetition! Ask me about the symbolism!"
How do u know if ur writing/story is actually good if ppl only leave likes and rarely any reblog or comments 🥲
I know because I write for myself and my own enjoyment. I don’t write for strangers’ validation. so if I like what I wrote then my writing is good enough for the target audience, aka me.
