Okay, so here are my recommendations (though I haven’t read as many fics as I would like to think, sooo some of them are just ones I have saved that sound incredible and I want to read):

First, I want to recommend some of my own fics, because I am a shameless self advertisement:
- Open my legs, lied down with death, this feeling leads the ache, the kick, the need. - Canonverse AU from Dragon Republic, a little more than slightly dark, one chapter away from completion; part of a series with 1.5 drafted out.
- Half in the shadows, half burned in flames, we can’t look back for nothin’, take what you need, say your goodbyes - Pre-canon and all about Jiang, two-shot and completed.
Then I have mutuals I would love to recommend and some of their works: @andthemoonsingswisely - gardenias on the tile, where it makes no difference who held back from who (to love me is to suffer me); a character study of Rin and Altan, which are always beautiful; one shot. @helenestark - i'm never gonna leave you, baby, even if you lose what's left of your mind; a well done chaltan by one of the best chaltan thinkers; oneshot. @hollywoodbabylondean - Oh Drunken Gods of Slaughter; one of the most detailed and well thought out fics I’ve ever read; multi chapter, complete. @agnes-writes - say a solemn prayer, place a poppy in my hair; one of the best post burning god fanfics I’ve ever read.
My bookmarks (i won’t recommend all of them, you see all of them on my ao3 page)!:
- The only heaven I'll be sent to is when I'm alone with you. By @shirilily - A short oneshot, less than an 1,200 words, but it is genuinely one of my favorites, has such beautiful prose.
- Voulez - Vous by shintacz (i love this author’s works) - A very delicious and well written modern au from Nezha’s pov; multi chapter, not complete yet.
- i know this room and i've walked this floor by orphan_account - A beautiful, beautiful post canon reincarnation au that made me cry; one shot.
- #CafeFightCouple by Anonymous - A very fun and fluffy modern au that is a perfect break from the angst that is the whole trilogy; unfortunately multi chapter and is probably abandoned, still worth a read to me.
- clings like coral by suncrowned(cloudywithachanceofmeatballs) - An incredibly interesting what if prompt; very short one shot.
- Keeping Score by @corneliaavenue-ao3 - is another interesting what if that has such delicious characterization and plotting, all from Nezha’s pov; multi chapter, incomplete.
My current reads:
- Peculiar Pets for Peculiar Girls by thirdtenbin - A whimsical fluffy fic with the vibes of a Studio Ghibli movie; multi chapter, to be completed.
- Mai'rinnen, Is It Just You And Me In The Wreckage Of The World? By @icarus-homebound - is a beautiful character study of Altan after his death, and focuses much on his relationship with Rin; multi chapter, to be completed.
- Upon a Quiet Field of Scarlet by schwoopyboop - A post canon fic taking place in the afterlife where they are all happy; long, multi chapter, not completed yet.
Fics I want to read myself:
- should’ve known I’d be the first to leave by @arikaito - a canon divergence from dragon republic; multi chapter, complete.
- darling, everything’s on fire by mostlypoptarts - a hunger games au with (i’ve only read a couple chapters) interesting character dynamics; long, multi chapter, complete.
- odyssey in waiting by tellmeyoursecrets - an angsty one shot set in the modern world.
- Foundations that lasted the ages then ripped apart at their roots by Purple_cactus - an exploration about the trifecta; short one shot.
- small favors by stqrsign - a pure fluff modern au; longer one shot.
- We are diamonds taking shape by @shirilily - another canon divergence from dragon republic, focusing on rin, kitay and nezha and their trifecta dynamics; long one shot.

I just wanted to announce guys that I have made my poppy war x hunger games au anonymous.
I really appreciate my followers who have supported the fic, it makes me so happy and feel loved, that is certainly not the reason that i made that decision.
I did it because I hated my writing in it so much, especially in the earlier chapters, HOWEVER I am planning to rewrite it and publish a new version of it, hopefully sooner rather than later!
I just chose those over orphaning it because I still wanted editing power but I also don’t want it associated with my blog much anymore, especially now that I will be publishing a new one. Which also means that you will not be receiving any new updates on that fic, which I have changed the name to simply being ‘everybody scream,’ while the new fic will take the original name.

Took a break from writing my post canon nezha mpreg fic to draw this. I haven't drawn anything in months but this fuckass couple are giving me brain worms.

And instead of being close to 8000 words, it is instead over 8000 words so if you like long fics, I guess this for you! Also I felt like a little “tired” while writing this chapter so while I am far from abandoning this fic or anything I’m going to publish my altan one shot and try and update another chapter of my hunger games au just for a nice change of pace.

I hope you all enjoy this chapter and aren’t disappointed and such because this one includes no rinezha pov and instead written through mainly Kitay and Venka’s pov’s in the hall outside the room where Rin labour. A little more detail in my authors note, but this is happening at the same time as 12, so no updates about rinezha baby, sorry.
Hehe, you know how my last chapter was like over 10k words, well yeah this is one is over 12k. And like I don’t wish to brag but I think it is my best yet, so I really hope you enjoy. Though this is our second to last chapter of this fic, soooo.
