I love that Mr. Chaifetz stood up for his son and is bringing this sort of inappropriate behavior to light.
BUT....BUT!
It bothers me...I mean, rips my soul to pieces that there are already THOUSANDS of White Americans making comments to the effect that Jodi's behavior is so horrendous (and yes, I agree that it is), but then I go and read articles about Trayvon Martin and find that more than a third of the comments made by White Americans, rationalize Zimmerman's (the shooter) behavior--saying things like Zimmerman must have been provoked, Trayvon shouldn't have been wearing a hoodie, Trayvon is one less N***** in the world (<---yes, that was an actual comment), or it must've been self defense, etc.
Trayvon Martin, an African-American teenager--a human being--DIED. Am I missing something? Do we not get that?
But one young boy with a mental illness--who happens to be White-- emotional state has been negatively affected and SO many who are part of the status quo are outraged? I mean 'flip a table' outraged. O_O...
