A malicious and dangerous Pokémon, it seeks revenge against the trainer who abandoned it. Its shackles were reinforced in order to keep its violent nature under control.
Chainite is a trade evolution, and it wants to get revenge on the trainer who traded it away? I don’t think I’ve ever performed a trade for evolution that didn’t result in an immediate trade back, so...Chainite probably gets its revenge fairly quickly.
The weird smokey dinosaur is cool, but I’m surprised the Substitute Doll doesn’t instead evolve into like...Missingno, or an unidentified ghost, or something. I’d have liked a stronger overarching theme, I guess.
