Spies

Skadi’s title as Spymaster in Clan Viska is no secret. Whenever she’s introduced on diplomatic missions, it’s the title she gives. As an infamous ex-assassin, the position she holds now comes as no surprise. However, Skadi’s network of spies in Clan Viska are much more covert, and their day jobs are a little more surprising.

Psi was and still is an artisan and a trades dragon. She specializes in the highly intricate work of bone carvings, either as a decoration or part of spell work. Psi frequents the markets and has become highly skilled in not only the sale of her goods (which bring in quite a lot of money to Clan Viska) but also keeping an ear out for any information or secrets that pass through.

Chalah does not work in the clan as anything but a spy, but under Skadi, he has become a skilled undercover operative. He especially excels at going under cover in courts or as a healer. In addition, his familiarity with healing plants has made him quite skilled in the handling of poisons.

Sombra, like Psi, has a profession completely separate from gathering information. A highly skilled and sought after architect, he both enjoys crafting buildings and learning the secrets of those who would live in them.

Asimar does undercover and infiltration work. He was once a sword for hire, and was the only one in her long carrier, to spot Skadi and attempt to stop her assassination attempt without prior knowledge there would actually be an attempt on the target’s life. She was able to defeat in him combat and get to her target, but not without an impressive fight that made Skadi reach out to him when she was given the opportunity. As he is not a member of Viska’s Knights, he’s free to continue to take sword for hire jobs, and if his clients don’t properly vet him thus failing to realize his true job as a spy , well that’s their fault isn’t it?

Sionyn and Vatrel work best as a team of infiltrators. Both small and smart, they get in and out of tight places quickly. And on occasions where that doesn’t work out, their size bellies their power. Sionyn is very skilled both in combat and at countering magic, and Vatrel really has a thing for large explosions. He’s very good at making them happen. But only when necessary, of course.

In doing comparative sizes, I’ve made Pythios a LOT bigger than Chalah in their gijinka forms

Pythios is a giant Pearlcatcher at over 7M, versus the average of over 5M for male Pearlcatchers. This puts him at 7ft in his gijinka form, taken from the average height of men in the US (5′10). Chalah, though, is a less than the average size for Guardian males, and it puts him at 5′3.

So, while in their dragon forms, Chalah fucking towers over Pythios, in their gijinka forms it’s the exact opposite
