Have you been following the MLB hot stove? This Phillies offseason is rough! Looks like they are staying pat and making no huge moves. They are bringing back the same team just one year older. I thought for sure they would at least go after Bregman.

what do you mean when you say “staying pat”? idk i liked the romano move, i’m don’t know for sure what they’re planning to do with hoffman yet but i’d love to see some progress on making sure andrew painter pitch for the phils. i’m not sure about kepler but that can’t be worse than what hays bringed to the team (little to nothing).

Pit Babe Novel Spoilers About Charlie's power

An interesting thing about Charlie's power is that he does not steal the powers to him. Is more like he redirects. In the novel this is explained, it is more like an exchange. If Charlie dies the powers return to the rightful owner and if the owner dies Charlie loses the access to the power.

He knows this in the novel because he is born with his mother's power but loses it when she dies.

PS: He also steals Way's power in the novel when he learns how he uses it on Babe. But I am not sure this will happen on the series because the moment that happens chronologically already happened on the series.
