Major Challenges Encountered By Students While Studying Abroad. Here are a few challenges that students often find in a foreign nation.
Studying abroad gives students a chance to grow. In the following post, you will find a few challenges that students often find in a foreign nation.
Hi guys so in little under a year I will be travelling to Cambodia with the future sense foundation to work at a school in Battambang. Over the summer I will be teaching kids about healthy lifestyles and sports activities and also helping to build sport facilities for the kids! Any donations will be much appreciated!!
My Trip to Peru!
All about my trip to Peru.
After a few weeks away, I am back to posting weekly and will be investing more time in blogging now that I have finished my degree. I will be graduating in September with a BA (hons) in Media Production and I am moving to Bristol at the end of this week. Now I have to figure out what to do with the rest of my life.
As many of you will know, I have been fundraising since the end of last year so…

Hi guys!
Throughout the year (and part of the reason I’ve been ghosting from Tumblr for a while..well a LONG while), I have been raising money alongside an amazing team of students at Royal Holloway University of London for a project to aid disadvantaged children living in care homes in Romania improve their living conditions as well as providing them with a variety of fun intercultural activities to make their summers exciting and memorable.
Here is a small snapshot of the things we have been doing in order to raise money and awareness on the charity! (more pics on my FB page: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10208482444354080&type=1&l=05ccd60c31)
If you guys would like to help out by donating, please do by following the link below! Any amount and support will be much appreciated!
With your help we can make the world a better place for young people one small step at a time.
Thank you!

My Trip to Peru. November 2014.
The equally fun and challenging trip to Peru with Deakin Uni and Challenges Abroad to do the Machu Picchu Challenge. Involved volunteering in and around Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
My group volunteered at a primary school teaching art classes to the school in the morning, and English lessons to the grade 6s in the afternoon, with lots of volleyball and soccer in between and afterwards. We were also the first group to ever teach English to these students, which proved quite difficult considering our Spanish wasn’t exactly fluent! We all got pretty damn good at charades though, and the kids learnt a lot! We also all helped one of the other groups at El Girasol orphanage for the day, doing some refurbishment. I helped out with painting the girls dormitory, whilst others fixed a hole in the roof, repaired some wardrobes or got muddy to help build an adobe oven.
We finished off our trip with the 5 day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu, which was definitely far from easy, but definitely worth the experience!
Three traditional old Karen women. This village is made up of all Karen people, they have their own language, dress and culture. You can see the woman on the right in the traditional Karen shirt. Once a woman is married she wears colourful clothing and single women wear white clothing. You can't see in the photograph but the woman on the left is actual at a 90 degree angle. She has worked in the rice paddies, carrying rice back and forth on her back, throughout her life. This has caused her back to be at a constant angle.
