Kinda sorta, I only read it once but it gives off those vibes for sure. Strike wants to unify everyone but the Anacondrai really wanna conquer stuff so all the Serpentine decide they wanna conquer Ninjago, too.
And that part really confuses me cus I could've SWORN that Pythor said the Anacondrai only attacked because Chen told them the humans would attack first and vice-versa.
But now they kinda blended the Serpentine War lore of s3 and s4 together, the serpents attacked the humans, to try warn them about the Golden Master.
I dunno I think it was a Fine story but I also think the ending really made me upset cus there's not exactly any way to justify locking up every single member of the Serpentine except one, esp when we now have a member of the Serpentine on the main team...
