~ Review of Champneys Revitalising Face Mask ~

Well, the lockdown life is finally upon is in Britain. I hope everyone’s staying safe wherever they are in the world and that you can take some time to relax during this worrying time. Which means it’s the perfect time for a face mask 💆‍♀️

I got this sheet mask as part of a Boots gift set at Christmas time, and I was curious to see what it was like as I’ve never tried any face products by this brand before. Champneys are mostly known for their bath and body products, so I was super excited to see what this face mask had to offer.

First of all, this face mask is unlike any other sheet mask I’ve used before. Instead of simply adjusting it to the contours of your face and hoping it doesn’t slide off at some point, this mask has two handy holes on the side to hook over your ears and keep it in place. Not only that, but it has two flappy bits that fit snugly under your chin to add extra support and to take care of that all-too-often neglected area too. So that was a big plus to start off with 👍

Then there’s the experience itself. I left the mask on for about 20 minutes, and throughout I had a lovely, cooling sensation on my skin that made it feel like it was calming down my spots and dryness. The fragrance also added to this - it has patchouli, chamomile and lemongrass in it that evokes that spa-like experience. I felt like the serum left by the mask might have been too much afterwards, but my skin drank it up in no time so I definitely needed it!

Overall, I couldn’t have been happier with it and would definitely use it again 😍
