Getting old is a BLESSING. Universe willing (despite how much everything sucks rn), you will live to get old too. Your skin will wrinkle and your hair will go gray, and your body will sag, and it won't matter quite as much in comparison to the joy that is being alive and having gained experience and perspective. Lots of people do not get to grow old. Treating everyone like they should still be in their 20s is not the way.

Deeming everything as 'just a phase' limits all sorts of growth.

So what if it's just a phase. Name me ONE THING in this entire world that ISN'T a phase. History is just a compilation of phases. Moon goes through it's phases. The land breaks and forms different land forms throughout the years. So what if your emo phase was just a phase? It doesn't make it any less significant! It was still a part of your life! Please! Stop rejecting parts of your own life! Even if it was embarassing or cringe! The same people who repost reels on 'YOU GOTTA NERD OUT' bully youngsters for liking 'cringe' media like MHA or making brainrot jokes as if they weren't the same when they were younger. Gen Z complained when Millenials bullied them but now bully Gen Alpha kids. (Yeah, sure- most of them are brainrotted with AI memes but remember!! we were the one who gave AI such positive feedback that it entered mainstream media!! Instead of blaming others and participating in ageism, just accept that everyone's fucked and help people not be fucked) Doing so you aren't supporting the 'Cringe culture is dead' agenda you're just relabbeling the 'good' cringe and the 'bad' cringe. Tell me why 'nerding out' over Spiderman is okay but 'nerding out' over DC means I wanna fuck those old men. No????????????????????????????? What???? Back to the bullying ppl for changing thing- stop acting like change isn't inevitable!!! I'm not saying you shouldn't be scared of change- because change can often feel unsafe for some ppl and thats okay! I'm talking of those ppl who bring others down because they can't believe one can change their ways. You aren't smart and cool and practical for doing that. You're a bitch. Stop. Stop discouraging other people to validate your own miserable self.

So what if me being an artist and writer at the same time is unrealistic and I'll probably burn out in the future? Who says that? YOU? You, your oh so smart and practical and logical self? You're just supporting that made up percentage you came up with because of your bias. And even if I do get bored of one of those hobbies and give it up, so WHAT? My personality and interests aren't obligated to be permanent. Change is inevitable. Accept it. You're not smarter because you're more miserable.
