Hi Gina, following on from your IMDB anon. I'm not entirely sure what the original catalyst for the query was but i have some additional information that might be useful.
As part of my job i have made a number of IMDB pages for projects I've worked on, using a Pro account and liaising directly with IMDB. even in this scenario they have to approve all entries and will query submissions, for example if you try to use a job role they aren't used to (it's very USA centric) or if the same name is listed multiple time in different job roles. i have to state the case for these entries.
All this to say, yes, anyone can submit an edit but it needs to be approved by IMDB staff before it goes live. (although what that approval process for public submissions i do not know)

I just assumed that it was fake because as far as I recall, we’ve never gotten that sort of thing on IMDb for videos.
